Celebrate Overwatch's Anniversary at Meltdown Madrid!
We have great news for you!
If you live in Madrid or next weekend you plan to travel to the capital, we are waiting for you at Meltdown Madrid to share a day full of emotions and with Overwatch lovers.
There we will have a night with many activities, raffles and gifts donated by Blizzard to celebrate the Anniversary of the Game. We are going to leave you a complete list of the activities that we are going to carry out during that day, the schedules and the gifts you can get.
Anniversary Schedule
All activities related to Overwatch will take place on June 3 from 18.00:XNUMX p.m.:
- 17.00: Arrival of the Participants at the venue. From this time on, all attendees who want to participate can go and start registering for the different competitions.
- 18.00h: 1vs1 Tournament Limited Duel format (Anniversary Event). Arcade 1vs1 format tournament among all attendees who decide to participate. All games will be played to the best of 1 1vs1 match and the final of the same to the best of 3 1vs1 matches. The prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place: Overwatch Sports Bag, Overwatch Glass Bottle and Overwatch Cap.
- 2nd place: Reaper Mug and Overwatch Cap.
- 3rd Place: Overwatch Tracer Mug and Glass Bottle
- 20.00h: 3vs3 Tournament Block Elimination format (Anniversary Event). Arcade 3vs3 format tournament among all attendees who decide to participate. All games will be played to the best of 1 3vs3 match and the final of the same to the best of 3 3vs3 matches. The prizes are as follows (for each member of the team):
- 1st Place: Winston Plush and Overwatch Scarf.
- 2nd place: Overwatch Lanyard and Overwatch Scarf.
- 3rd Classified: Overwatch cap.
- 21.30pm: Dinner and Rest. Take a breath and recharge with great meals at Meltdown Madrid.
- 22.30: Roadhog vs. Tracer. Arcade format tournament in which teams of 3 Tracers must defeat a Roadhog with a large amount of life. You must try to defeat Roadhog in the shortest time possible to achieve victory. The prizes are as follows (for each member of the team):
- 1st Place: Overwatch Crystal Bottle and Overwatch Lanyard.
- 2rd Classified: Overwatch cap.
Contests and Sweepstakes
Not everything will be tests in front of the computer. For us it is very important that in these events you interact with all the attendees. Therefore, we will have several activities for you to interact with each other and show who is a true Overwatch hero.
- I'm not a monkey, I'm a scientist!: Get Winston's teddy taking a picture with him and uploading this phrase to Twitter to share it with your friends. Among all those who decide to participate, they will have the option of taking the stuffed animal home.
- Dance like your favorite hero!: If something has brought us the anniversary event, it has been the dances of the different heroes of the game. If you think you can perform one of these dances and record yourself, you will be entered into the drawing for a Reaper Mug and a Tracer Mug.
Live Broadcasts
We know that all of you cannot come to celebrate the anniversary and that is why we want to keep you very present. From Meltdown Madrid, several Overwatch content creators will perform several live shows on both Twich and YouTube on their respective channels.
