Classes

  • Druid
    • Equilibrio
      • Moonfire damage and periodic damage reduced by 10%
      • Sunfire damage and periodic damage reduced by 10%.
      • Noon Sun damage (Azerite Trait) increased by 11%.
      • Power of the Moon (Azerite Trait) damage increased by 11%.
    • Restaurants
      • Mastery: Harmony healing bonus reduced by 9%.
      • Noonday Sun (Azerite Trait) damage reduced by 34%.
        • Developer Notes: The Restoration Druid has a general healing, damage and utility package that is very difficult to compete with in solo content. Two things that stand out in particular are the efficiency of single-target heal with high mastery and the ease of contributing DPS with very little use of GDC in Sunfire.
  • Wizard
    • Frost
      • Ice Lance damage increased by 20%
        • Developer Notes: Ice Lance's damage was not keeping up with Icicles when scaling, creating builds that ignored Ice Lance. The intent of this change is to give Frost Mages a better incentive to use Ice Lance within their rotation, with a DPS buff.
  • Monk
    • Brewmaster
      • Stamina bonus reduced to 30% (was 35%)
      • Stagger percentage reduced to 90% Agility (was 105%)
      • High Tolerance now increases the effectiveness of Stagger by 5% (was 8%)
        • Developer Note: Brewmaster's extremely high health effectiveness against Physical damage meant that they were rarely in danger from large amounts of damage that other tanks do threaten. This should still be a Brewmaster trait, but not with such a high margin.
      • Fixed a bug that caused Offering of the Ox orbs to spawn too often for players with high Stamina.
    • Mistweaver
      • Nascent Mist healing increased by 33% and now extends healing effects over time by 4 seconds (was 2s).
        • Developer Note: This talent is currently dwarfed by others at its level and we want to make sure it is competitive enough to make our unique playstyle a viable option.
      • Vital Chrysalis now absorbs 60% of the caster's maximum health (was 1100% of spell power)
        • Developers Note: This ability has been weakened compared to the amount of health of players since the start of the expansion. This should help it maintain its value.
      • Enveloping Mist's healing increased by 10%.
      • Reanimation healing increased by 12%.
      • Renewing Mist healing increased by 15% and now costs 2,5% mana (was 2,8%).
      • Vivify healing increased by 6%.
    • Wind Traveler
      • Rising Sun Kick damage increased by 25%
      • Dark Kick damage increased by 10%
        • Developer Note: These changes are intended to help Windwalkers perform better in single-target fights.
  • Paladin
    • Sagrado
      • Flash of Light (Azerite Trait) healing reduced by 12% and can now be applied to up to 8 targets.
        • Developer Notes: Over the past year, builds focused on this trait have stood out in comparison to all other Holy Paladin playstyles, and to some extent all other healers in high-level content. This change is intended to preserve the playability of the trait, but limits the ability to dramatically increase its value by stacking all possible bonuses that reduce the cooldown of Holy Shock.
  • Priest
    • Discipline
      • Atonement healing reduced to 50% (was 55%)
      • Penance healing increased by 15%.
      • Fixed a bug that prevented Contrition's healing from being properly affected by Mastery.
      • Contrition base healing reduced by 25%.
        • Developer Notes: Overall, Contrition is gaining in value, due to increased Penance healing, reduction to Atonement healing, and Mastery bug fixes.
      • Purge the Evil One has been reduced by 10%.
      • Power Word: Comfort damage reduced by 10%.
      • Shadow Word: Pain damage reduced by 9%.
      • Mastery: Grace's effectiveness increased by 12%.
        • Developer Notes: Discipline's ability to contribute both damage and healing is too high for what a character can contribute in a party. At the same time, we're making his Mastery stat a bit more attractive.
      • Schism now increases the damage dealt only by Priest spells and abilities.
        • Developer Notes: It is designed to be consistent with other class cooldowns.
    • Shades
      • Auspicious Spirits damage bonus reduced to 25% (was 50%)
      • Fixed a bug that caused Malicious Apparitions (Azerite Trait) to be increased by 75% if you did not have the Auspicious Spirits talent.
        • Developer Notes: The multiplicative interaction between Auspicious Spirits, Evil Apparitions, and Choirs of Insanity has largely been responsible for the out-of-control of Shadow damage.
      • 25% reduced Critical Damage Bonus from Choirs of Insanity
      • Shadow Word: Pain damage reduced by 8%
      • Vampiric Touch damage reduced by 8%
  • Sorcerer
    • Affliction
      • Death Bolt now deals 20% of the total remaining damage of the Warlock's damage over time on the target (was 30%).
      • Drain Soul damage increased by 50%.
      • Nightfall now increases Shadow Bolt damage by 50% (was 25%) and now triggers 33% more often.
        • Developer Notes: One of Affliction Warlock's key concepts is dealing damage over time to several different targets. While Death Bolt removes these types of spells, it deals more area damage than expected and outperforms the other two talents in every situation. In addition to reducing the effectiveness of Death Bolt, we are improving the other two options to give Affliction Warlocks more options.

essences

  • Condensed life force
    • The damage debuff applied by your Guardian's Azerite Spikes has been reduced to an additional 3% damage (was 5%).
    • Azerite Spike cast time increased to 2,5 seconds (was 2,0 seconds).
      • Developer Notes: The increased release time was primarily intended to resolve a bug. This particular essence, which is largely passive, was the primary choice for most specs in single-target and multi-target situations. Therefore, in addition to the increased cast time, we felt it was necessary to reduce the increase in damage the player takes from the essence.
  • Resonance of the Vetamundo
    • Major Rank 1: When used, now also causes you to gain a + 50% stat bonus from Shard of Lifeblood for 10 sec.
    • Shard of Lifeblood now gains a value of + 300% for 18 seconds (was + 50% for 10 seconds).
  • Vision of Perfection
    • Increased chance to trigger by 12%.
  • The Force Unleashed
    • Major Rank 1: damage increased by 40%.
    • Minor Rank 1: Duration increased to 4 seconds (was 3s).
    • Minor Rank 3: Duration increment increased to 2 seconds (was 1s).
  • Purification Protocol
    • Major Rank 1: damage increased by 15%
    • Major Rank 2: Now has the potential to work on targets that are part of a dungeon or raid.
  • Vitality Conduit
    • We've rebuilt the way these Essences work, and it should be more visually stunning, as you'll now see healing on your targets.

As always, changes like these are a work in progress. We will likely make further adjustments to test throughout the RPP.
Thank you very much for trying and for your comments!
