Important notice about the mission

Aloha! It seems that there is a small bug in the mission Touch of a Titan to boost your legendaries. If you are one of those who already have almost 50 Titan Essences distilled, read this carefully.

Important notice about the mission "Touch of a Titan"

It seems that there is a small bug in the mission Touch of a Titan to boost your legendary Titan. Several people in the forum have warned that when delivering the mission all their Distilled Titan Essences surpluses (more than 50) were erased.

For now there is no date for the patch that fixes this annoying bug. Blizzard recommends, for now, as a temporary measure that people doing this mission Touch of a Titan always deliver the minimum amount of Essences possible.

Deliver the mission Titan today, after having achieved the last 2 Distilled Titan Essences in the daily chest, getting a total of 52 Distilled Titan Essences. Upon delivering and re-activating the mission again to start climbing into my Sephuz, I realized that I had 0 Distilled Titan Essences.

Be careful when delivering this mission. If you are close to getting all the required Essences next Tuesday (Wednesday in Europe), do not collect the Weekly M + Chest to complete it. Save it until you deliver all 50 and as soon as you activate the mission again you can go for it.

I have found this bug to be repeated on a number of occasions, specifically around the Nighthold progression and exceeding the maximum of 50.

We will send this report to the developers and see what is happening.

Woaw! I did not expect that. Thanks Ornyx! He wasn't sure if it was intentional or not, so he didn't want to say anything other than this warning.

I think it's normal for missions like this to work this way, but in this case, looking at raid progression, raid finder levels and such, it seems like people could end up getting 70-80 at once without realizing mind, which could be very daunting.

I turned in my Touch of a Titan quest today, having looted the last 2 Essence of Aman'ThulEssences I needed from my daily box, bringing me to a grand total of 52/50 Essence of Aman'ThulEssences. Upon completion and picking up the quest again to start working on my Sephuz's, I noticed I had 0/50 left.

Be careful when turning in the quest. If you are really close to having the required essences next Tuesday, don't use your Weekly M + Cache to complete it. Save that for when you pick up the next round and get it from a daily box instead.

I can see this being an issue in a few situations, specifically around Nighthold progression and going over the 50 “cap” by a moderate amount during your normal raid time.

We will send this feedback over to the developers and see what's going on.

Whoa! Wasn't expecting that. Thanks for the heads up Ornyx! Wasn't sure if it was intentional or not so I didn't want to say anything other than the warning.

I think it's typical for quests like this to work in this way, but in this case, when looking at how raids progress and LFR tiers and such, it seems people could end up saving 70-80 at a time without realizing it which could be devastating.
