Everything you need to know about MDI time trials
In the first Mythic Dungeon Invitational we only invited the best 8 teams to participate in the next phase. This year we are going to allow more teams to compete for a share of the $ 200 at stake. Everyone who meets the requirements and completes the MDI Proving Grounds will receive an invitation to the tournament realms, which are realms configured specifically for the next phase of the tournament. All players will have access to the same top-quality equipment for their character, with which they will have to prove that they have what it takes to be crowned Mythic Dungeon Invitational champions.
What are time trials?
The time trials, which begin Tuesday, March 27, are a way to assess the skill, knowledge and flexibility of teams as they tackle three dungeons of varying difficulty. Some are very good at the toughest cornerstones, surviving the worst affixes, or mastering a specific dungeon. At MDI, by contrast, teams have to cover all of that to get to the top.

These three dungeons will be the sole focus of attention for teams during Time Trials week, with unlimited attempts in the tournament realm to master and polish them.
Of course, it will not be enough to complete the dungeons on time: teams will have to do their best to do it in the shortest time possible. We will collect the best time of each team in each dungeon, and we will add the three to obtain the total score of their time trials. Only the top 8 from each region will advance to the regional draw, so teams will have to do very well to stay in the top positions.
Do not forget send your score of the Proving Grounds period before March 16 at 23:00 CET. Only dungeons completed during the Proving Grounds period will count.
