Visions of N'Zoth content update notes

Corrupted Zones: Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms

The ancient god N'Zoth has been freed from the prison where the Titans confined him and has spread terror and destruction throughout Azeroth. His hosts have gathered to lay siege to the Titan buildings in Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. If these ancient defenses fall, N'Zoth will turn his nightmarish visions into reality.

New Raid: Ny'alotha, Awakening City

Delve into the source of nightmares in Ny'alotha, Waking City, a 12-boss warband in the void-pregnant heart of the Black Empire. Face unhinged heralds and inscrutable terrors, ultimately coming face to face with N'Zoth himself in the ultimate battle for the survival of Azeroth.

New affix: Wake up

Season 4 has a new affix: Wake up. While active, players will discover obelisks throughout the dungeon that will lead them through the veil to the shadow world of Ny'alotha. There they will face a powerful servant of N'Zoth, whom they must defeat so that he does not combine his forces with the final boss of the room. Once the lieutenant is killed, the group will return to the reality of their current location. This will allow for some cool jumps that don't involve the use of Shroud of Concealment or rogue invisibility

Assaults: The Servants of N'Zoth

Level 120 players will witness firsthand the overwhelming power of the Old Gods in new assaults on the Titan buildings in Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. They must repel the minions of N'Zoth by completing objectives in the area, such as defeating enemies and strange rivals, looting treasures and participating in events. Once progress is made, you will face the lieutenant who leads the enemy forces and, when you win, you will obtain an important piece of equipment and a key container to access a new feature: the horrifying visions.

Raid locations will rotate within Uldum in Kalimdor and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms in Pandaria, so look for the Burning Eye of N'Zoth in the lower left corner of the map (shortcut: m) to see which enemies await you. every day.

Mantid Assault (Vale of Eternal Blossoms)

The mantid swarm once again besieges the peaceful lands of Pandaria. Crush Shek'zara's insectoid servants to thwart the hivemind's plans.

Mogu Assault (Vale of Eternal Blossoms)

The conflict between the mogu clans vying for the valley is nearing a tipping point, leaving only devastation in its wake. Drive back their forces to subdue all sides of this proud race.

Black Empire Assault (Vale of Eternal Blossoms)

The restored Vale of Eternal Blossoms is once again threatened by the Old Gods. Repel the madness of the Black Empire fleet to restore harmony.

Amathet Assault (Uldum)

Taking advantage of their position as custodians of the Titans, the fervent amathet have taken control of Uldum to secure their status as sole controllers of the Titan Forge. Return this arrogant tribe to the sandy graves from which it emerged.

Aqir Assault (Uldum)

The aqir infest Uldum and threaten to devastate the Titan facilities in the name of N'Zoth and the Black Empire. Crush their rebellion to end this senseless destruction.

Black Empire Assault (Uldum)

As the veil between the worlds fades, N'Zoth's servants will infiltrate Uldum. Eradicate its ancient corruption to cleanse the desert sands.

In addition to participating in raids, you will have the opportunity to earn two new reputations: Uldum Accord and Rajani. Each faction will provide new rewards that can be purchased. Players will also be able to enter minor visions of N'Zoth while raids are active. They can be done alone or in a group, and in them you will glimpse a future that will test your dexterity and sanity as you progress. Keep an eye on your sanity bar and work as a team.

New feature: gruesome visions

Horrifying Visions are 1-5 player stay challenges that offer a glimpse into the wicked future that N'Zoth has in store for Orgrimmar and Stormwind. During a horrifying vision, your sanity will be constantly besieged with an increased difficulty of the stay that will force you to leave it before the madness consumes you.

Each time you are subjected to a horrifying vision, you will accumulate more knowledge and fragments of N'Zoth's corruption. Bringing them to Wrathion and MOTHER in Silithus will boost your defenses and gain new tools, allowing you to delve further into the horrifying visions of N'Zoth and qualify for better rewards.

To enter, bring a Vessel of Horrifying Visions to the Chamber of Heart and enter the horrifying vision of Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

Titanic Research Archive

By delivering Shards of N'Zoth's Corruption, you will gain abilities that allow you to delve deeper into future gruesome visions, overcome greater threats, and withstand the effects of N'Zoth's attacks of madness. You can choose from a range of passive abilities that range from revealing treasures to moderating the amount of sanity lost in the instance.

Bring those fragments to Wrathion and MOTHER in the Chamber of Heart located on Silithus.

Unknown masks

Players looking to move to another level of rewards and challenges can venture into the gruesome visions bonus zones and search for unknown masks. With them on, the difficulty of the visions increases and access to greater rewards is unlocked.

New Legendary Cloak: Ashjra'kamas, Veil of Resolution

To combat the corruption of N'Zoth, Wrathion will return, who will help you build a legendary cloak: Ashjra'kamas, Veil of Resolution. This upgradeable Legendary item starts at Rank 1 and Level 470, with subsequent ranks increasing in power and adding other unique effects. By wearing this cloak, players will be able to venture into more gruesome visions of N'Zoth, earn better rewards, and uncover the other mysteries of the power of the Old God. This cape will also be useful to face N'Zoth himself in the next raid.

By equipping yourself with the cloak, you will instantly reduce the loss of sanity in horrifying visions. At rank 6, the cloak will gain a spell effect that dispels all effects of N'Zoth's corruption and makes the wearer immune to any other corruption effects for 6 seconds (with a 3-minute cooldown). At Rank 12, the cloak will also gain a passive Draconic Buff, allowing your spells and abilities to significantly increase your primary stat.

Once Ashjra'kamas, Veil of Resolution, reaches Rank 15, you can start acquiring Maleficent Cores, increasing your resistance to Corruption by 3, up to a maximum of 125. You can get one Maleficent Core per week and there are different ways to do so, such as defeating N'Zoth on Ny'alotha (Normal, Heroic, or Mythic difficulty) or completing all the objectives of a horrifying vision.

Top-level players who have unlocked the Heart Forge will be able to undertake the missions required to obtain this new legendary cape.

New corrupted items and rewards

In Visions of N'Zoth, you'll encounter equipment steeped in corruption. Corrupted items, desecrated by N'Zoth, offer exceptional power for a price. The more you put on, the more damage your spells will deal or the more powerful your heals will be, but the corruption will begin to affect you in increasingly dangerous ways. At low levels of Corruption, the damage you take may periodically slow you down, while at higher levels, the evil forces of the Void can attack you at any time.

Deciding how much corruption you can take on is a delicate decision, but don't forget that you can mitigate it with your new Legendary Cloak and new Essences. By equipping yourself with them, you can nullify some of the corruption and benefit from the power of N'Zoth with less hassle.

You can choose to remove Corruption from your items through Titanic Purification, which will cost you multiple Corrupted Memories. However, by doing so, your item will lose the positive effect as well.

Here are a couple of corruption effects that can appear on players' gear.

Indescribable truth

Your spells and abilities can show you Unspeakable Truth, increasing cooldown recovery speed by 50% for 10 seconds.

Twilight Devastation

Your attacks can trigger a beam of Twilight Devastation, dealing damage equal to 5% of your health to all enemies in front.

Zephyr Canyon redesign

Visions of N'Zoth also brings a visual update and a redesign to the Zephyr Canyon. The new version, inspired by the Arathi Basin, has five capture points for teams to contest. Maintaining control of the Market, Farm, Ruins, Shrine, and Quarry will be key to your success, as the first faction to reach 1500 points wins!

You'll be able to queue for the new Zephyr Cannon in the Battlegrounds section of the Party Finder (default shortcut: i).

Pet battles

In Visions of N'Zoth, in addition to seven new battle pets and eight new missions from the pet battle world, your army of fierce little companions awaits a searing challenge.

Pet Battle Dungeon: Blackrock Depths

Now is the time to organize your beasts and put the best battle pets to the test in the volcanic labyrinth of Blackrock Depths, a new pet battle dungeon with normal and challenging difficulties. After clearing the dungeon on Normal difficulty, you'll earn an Ultimate Battle Training Stone, while completing it on Challenge difficulty will earn you the achievement "Pet Battle Challenge: Blackrock Depths" and the Shadow Disguise, a toy that will transform you into an enigmatic figure for 15 seconds. Challenge Difficulty, once completed, counts towards a weekly quest that rewards Enigmatic Gems (an account-bound currency that can be exchanged for an unopened Blackrock Depths supply crate filled with pet supplies ) or any of the three new pets: the Whining Lasher, Experiment 13, and LittleStarpa. Speak to Burt Macklyn at the entrance to the dungeon to add one of these powerful creatures to your ranks.

To start your journey, you'll need to have completed the previous four pet battle dungeon missions: "Vermin and Wailing," "Deathmines Strike Back," "New Guardians of Gnomeregan," and "Little Terrors of Stratholme." With this done on Normal or Challenge difficulty, you can embark on the new quest offered by Tizzy Joint Shaker in Boralus or Radek Leadlock in Dazar'alor and begin your journey to the pet battles that await you in the Depths of Blackrock.

New Allied Races: Vulpera and Mechagnomes

Visions of N'Zoth lead the resourceful vulpera to the Horde and the industrious mechagnomes to the Alliance. As with the other allied races, by unlocking each one, you will get a unique mount; In addition, when raising a new Vulpera or Mechagnome from level 20 to 110, you will get their special dynastic armor transmog set.

Horde players can unlock the Vulpera by completing Vol'dun's level-up story and reaching Exalted reputation with the Voldunai. Alliance players who are Exalted level with Rustbolt Resistance and have completed the history of Mechagon can embark on a quest chain to create their own mechagnome.

Death Knights for everyone!

With the release of Visions of N'Zoth, players who pre-purchase World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will have the chance to create Death Knights from the Pandaren and all allied races, including new Vulpera and Mechagnomes once unlocked.

Complete renovation of the auction house

We have revamped the auction house to be more fluid, faster and easier to use thanks to an update to its functionality that focuses on the most common use that players give it.

Raw Materials (Stackable Items) are no longer sold in stacks. Now you just have to indicate the amount you want to buy, and the auction house will automatically select the most affordable auctions. Since these always appear at the top, you will no longer have to search for the best bargains. You can also create a list of favorites to be able to search and buy the objects that you usually need.

New missions

There are a multitude of new stories and adventures available for Azeroth.

Return of the Black Prince

Azeroth demands your help in its defense against the relentless invasion of the Black Empire. Top-level players can turn to Wrathion to begin eradicating the forces of N'Zoth from this world.

Servant of N'Zoth

N'Zoth's whispers corrupt the minds of fierce warriors around the world, who are dominated by an invincible thirst for blood against their own brothers and sisters. If a player succumbs and accepts this mission, they will join forces with N'Zoth to do their bidding and assassinate members of their faction. If he is able to defeat 10 players without dying, he will be rewarded with a new title ("Servant of N'Zoth"), an item that allows N'Zoth to be defected at will, and the achievement "Servant of N'Zoth".

New dynastic armor: goblins and worgen

Celebrate your legacy with the Goblin and Worgen Dynastic Armor Sets.

The highest level (120) goblins or worgen that are Exalted in their faction (Bilgewater Cartel or Gilneas, respectively) will be able to embark on a new quest line for each race and find out more about their history. Upon completion of these quests, they will earn a unique dynastic armor transmog set for their race.

New Warfront: Darkshore on Heroic Difficulty

As in Stromgarde on Heroic Difficulty, you will have to coordinate with an already created group of 10-20 players to overcome the tireless enemy forces. Interact with the war table in Boralus or the Port of Zuldazar together with your band to join the battle.

New Brawl: Crowded Islands

This large-scale battle transports two teams of 10 to an island teeming with powerful creatures. This brawl adds a new challenge to PvP Island Expeditions by increasing player totals from 6 to 20 on the larger islands (such as Shelter Forest and Jorundall).

When the brawl is active, players can join the fight by opening the party finder (default shortcut: i), selecting it in the Player vs. Player tab, and queuing.

Black Moon Fair Gallery

Take out your tokens, because the best gnomish engineers have built a new attraction: the Darkmoon Faire gallery! Play games inspired by world quests like Hex Hunter, Barrel of Fun, Totemic Matrix, BULL-E, Memorama, and Rune Match.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to visit this mechanical marvel hosted by Lynnish Hard Mode when the Darkmoon Faire arrives. You will find her behind the roller coaster.

Mounts

Traverse the corrupted lands of Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms on new, shadowy and empty mounts. Here are six mounts, but there will be others!

All-Seer of Ny'alotha:

The ghoulish appearance of this tentacled nightmare resembles that of the many-eyed ancient god himself. This mount is obtained after defeating N'Zoth the Corruptor on Mythic difficulty.

Ivory Cloud Serpent:

Ivory Cloud Dragons are often mistaken for deafening thunder when they fly over the land at breakneck speed. Players can get hold of one by defeating the Ivory Cloud Serpent in Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

Black Serpent of N'Zoth:

The black serpents of N'Zoth are heralds of its ultimate vision come true. Only those subjects - or enemies - who can roam this place will have the chance to face them. If you want one, you will need to earn the achievement "In the Depth of Visions."

Ha-Li breeding:

Ha-Li's hatchlings live happily soaring through Pandaria's blue skies and hunting unsuspecting prey. Kill Ha-Li in Vale of Eternal Blossoms for a chance to bring this mount back to your stable.

Shadowbar Drone

Players now have the opportunity to breed their own Shadowpug Drone mount. Look for Void-Touched Eggs in Uldum to get started!

Spring fur alpaca

Due to their gentle nature, alpacas are the perfect companions for intrepid adventurers. Complete the quest "There's an Alpaca in You" in Uldum to get one.

Holiday updates

Lunar festival

Go on an adventure through Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms to complete the Moon Rite and help an old Druid bless her Moonflower Staff. In return, she will enchant your flower crowns so that they live forever and you can transfigure them throughout the year.

Achievements

  • Players with the mighty Brutosaur Caravan mount now gain the "Conspicuous Consumption" feat of strength.

Character appearance

  • Updated the brightness of the eyes of blood elves, night elves, and death knights of all races.
  • The Guardian Druid with the artifact appearance of Legion from the Might of the Brownmaw mage tower has a special dance animation.

Classes

  • Death Knight
    • Blood
      • The Mark of Blood talent can no longer heal a target with high health for more than 5% of the Death Knight's maximum health.
    • Profane
      • The Overflowing Wounds talent now increases the healing absorption of Necrotic Strike.
      • Risen Wanderer summoned with the All Will Serve talent can now benefit from Ice Road.
      • Risen Wanderers' Wandering Shot damage and cast time increased by 25%.
        • Developer Comment: With increased cast time and damage, this ability should no longer cause issues with global cooldown at higher haste levels.
    • Druid
      • Equilibrio
        • Sunfire and Moonfire damage and periodic damage reduced by 10%.
        • Noon Sun Azerite trait damage increased by 11%.
        • Power of the Moon Azerite trait damage increased by 11%.
      • Improved the sound effects of the abilities of the feral druid.
        • Finishing abilities should now sound as good as the others.
        • You can now hear when additional damage is dealt to targets that bleed.
      • Restaurants
        • Mastery: Harmony healing bonus reduced by 9%.
        • Noon Sun Azerite trait damage reduced by 34%.
          • Developer Comment: The Restoration Druid has a combination of healing, damage, and utility abilities that is difficult to compete with in situations where he is the only healer in the group. Two things that stand out especially are the efficiency of single-target healing with high Mastery and the ease of contributing to DPS thanks to the low use of Sunfire's global cooldown.
    • Wizard
      • Frost
        • Ice Lance damage increased by 20%.
          • Developer Comment: Ice Lance's damage hasn't kept up with Icicles, causing builds to appear that ignore Ice Lance. With this change, our goal is to incentivize Frost Mage to use Ice Lance in his rotation.
    • Monk
      • Brewmaster
        • Stamina bonus reduced to 30% (was 35%).
        • Stagger percentage reduced to 90% Agility (was 105%).
        • High Tolerance now increases the effectiveness of Stagger by 5% (was 8%).
          • Developer Comments: The Brewmaster's highly effective health against physical damage meant that he was hardly at risk from the spikes of damage that do put other tanks in check. The Brewmaster should remain strong despite these changes, but not by such a wide margin.
      • Mist weaver
        • Reanimation healing increased by 12%.
        • Renewing Mist's healing increased by 15% and now costs 2,5% of mana (was 2,8%).
        • Vivify healing increased by 6%.
        • Enveloping Mist's healing increased by 10%.
        • Nascent Mist's healing increased by 33% and now extends healing effects for 4 seconds (was 2 seconds).
          • Developer Comment: This talent is currently dwarfed by its peers, so we want to ensure that it is competitive enough so that its particular style of play remains viable.
        • Vital Chrysalis now heals for 60% of the monk's maximum health (was 1100% of the character's spell power).
          • Developer Comment: This ability has been weakened since the start of the expansion as player health increased, so this change will help maintain its value.
      • Wind traveler
        • Rising Sun Kick damage increased by 25%.
        • Dark Kick damage increased by 10%.
          • Developer Comment: With these changes, our goal is to help upgrade the Windwalker in single-target fights.
    • Paladin
      • Sagrado
        • Healing from the Lightning Azerite Trait has been reduced by 12% and can now be applied to up to 8 targets.
          • Developer Comment: Over the past year, builds around this trait outperformed all other Holy Paladin playstyles and, to some extent, other healers in advanced content. This change seeks to preserve the gameplay mechanics of the trait, while limiting the ability to drastically increase its value by stacking all bonuses that reduce the cooldown of Holy Shock.
    • Priest
      • Discipline
        • Contrition talent base healing reduced by 25%.
        • Contrition healing is now correctly affected by Mastery.
          • Developer Comment: Overall, this talent wins out due to increased Penance healing, Atonement healing reduction, and Mastery bug fix.
        • Penance healing increased by 15%.
        • Schism now only increases damage dealt by spells and priest abilities.
          • Developer Comment: The goal of this change is to make Schism more consistent with other similar cooldowns.
        • Shadow Word: Pain damage reduced by 9%.
        • Purge the Evil Damage reduced by 10%.
        • The damage of the Power Word: Comfort talent has been reduced by 10%.
        • Atonement healing reduced to 50% (was 55%).
        • Mastery: Grace effectiveness increased by 12%.
          • Developer Comment: The Discipline Priest's ability to contribute both damage and healing is far too good for what a character should contribute to a party composition. To compensate for these changes, we have slightly improved his Mastery.
      • Shade
        • Choirs of Insanity critical strike bonus reduced by 25%.
        • Auspicious Spirits damage bonus reduced to 25% (was 50%).
        • The Azerite Trait Malicious Apparitions now deals the correct amount of damage if the Shadow Priest has the Auspicious Spirits talent.
          • Developer Comment: The multiplicative interaction between Auspicious Spirits, Malicious Apparitions, and Choirs of Insanity has been primarily responsible for the Shadow Priest's damage getting out of control when taking on multiple targets at once. This change will make his damage more in tune with the idea we had initially.
        • Vampiric Touch and Shadow Word: Pain damage reduced by 8%.
    • Shaman
      • Elemental
        • The Primal Elementalist talent will now have individual autocast settings for each pet.
    • Sorcerer
      • Affliction
        • These pets now appear under player frames with a timer: Terrashers, Vile Evil, and Grimoire: Vile Guard.
        • Death Bolt now deals 20% of the total remaining damage from the Warlock's damage-over-time effects on the target (was 30%).
        • The chance to trigger Nightfall has been increased by 33%.
        • Nightfall now increases Shadow Bolt damage by 50% (was 25%).
        • Drain Soul damage increased by 50%.
          • Developer Comment: One of the key aspects of the Affliction Warlock is dealing damage over time to different targets. Although Death Bolt is not part of this spell type, it deals too much damage in a short amount of time and outperforms the other two talents in any situation. In addition to reducing the effectiveness of Death Bolt, we've improved the other two talents at that level so that the Sorcerer Affliction has other alternatives.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Operation: Mechagon
    • Now Operation: Mechandria has been divided into two new rooms: Mechandria - Scrapping and Mechandria - Workshop.
      • Developer Comment: During content update Rise of Azshara, the epic and complex mega-dungeon Operation: Mechagon was released. Now that you are joining the Mythic Keystone system, we are applying a few tweaks to make it more difficult for other dungeons of this type.
    • Operation: Mechagon is now available on Heroic Difficulty. Players can queue for Mechagon - Scrapyard or Mechagon - Workshop in the Dungeons and Raids section of the Party Finder (Default Key: i) or enter the instance in Heroic mode and complete it entirely.
  • Mechagon - Workshop
    • The variability of the damage capacity of some creatures in the dungeon has been reduced.
      • Developer Comment: The main goal behind the significant reduction in variance of spellcasting timers is to make the damage inflicted by affected enemies more consistent.
    • Platinum Cast
      • Now casts Mine of C0MB473 more frequently on all difficulties.
      • Missile destruction visual effect will now always appear to warn the player before hitting all difficulties.
    • Gnommercy PAT 1
      • Reactor lines
      • Gnommercy now turns toward Pin's target before its cast.
    • Combat tonks
      • Buzz Saw damage reduced by 80%.
        • Developer Comment: Until now, this encounter was lethal at the highest Mythic Keystone levels with the Tyrannical affix active. To avoid disturbing the chaos of the fight, we have reduced the damage of Buzz Saw, but we have not touched the knockback effect.
    • Waste processing unit
      • Mega Drill precast increased to 3,5 seconds (was 2 seconds).
        • Developer Comment: Mega Drill is a dangerous ability, and by slowing its cast, players will have a little more time to react.
    • KU-J0
      • Release flames
        • Increased the distance players are safe from Drop Flames when standing behind a Junk Bucket.
    • Defense Robot Mk III
      • Voltaic Shock damage reduced by 12%.
      • Cause Shorting damage reduced by 20%.
    • X-80 Detonatron
      • Capacitor Bolt damage increased by 40%.

      • Pulse Blast damage reduced by 37%.
        • Gigaspark (phase 1)
          • Initial damage reduced by 44%.

      • Headbutt damage increased by 25%.
      • Shockwave damage reduced by 9%.

        • Duration reduced to 10 seconds (was 12 seconds).
    • King Gobbamak
      • Collapse damage dealt reduced by 37%.
    • Head mechanic (Scrapping) and Mechagon mechanic (Workshop)
      • Revolution is now magic for dispel purposes for both enemies (previously one was magic and the other was Enrage).
    • Head Stripper
      • Scrap Grenade's ground visual effect has been slightly reduced.
        • The damage dealt by Nutcracker has been reduced by 25%.
      • Electric Shot damage reduced by 20%.
    • Slime Elemental
      • Olababa's damage reduced by 28%.
    • Filthy
      • Toxic Emanations damage reduced by 25%.
    • Smash
      • Weapon damage per hit reduced to 100% (was 150%).
      • The debuff has been increased to 100% (was 75%).
        • Developer Comment: These changes reduce Smash damage by approximately 25% and prompt tanks to pay more attention to this ability to try to mitigate it before taking the big hit at the end.
      • Withering Spark's periodic damage reduced by 20%.
    • Armored crawler
      • Scrap cannon
        • No longer cast while Shock Coil is active.
    • Osseomorralla abuse
      • Infuriate
        • Cast time increased to 2 seconds (was 1,5 seconds).
        • Duration reduced to 10 seconds (was 12 seconds).
  • Kings' Rest
    • General
      • The variability of the damage capacity of some creatures in the dungeon has been reduced.
    • Shadowdark Warrior
      • Hurricane Slash damage duration reduced to 8 seconds (was 10 seconds).

    • Spectral Beastmaster
      • Poison Barrage
        • Damage reduced by 11%.
        • Duration reduced to 10 seconds (was 20 seconds).
          • Developer Comment: Until now, the long duration of this effect could make it very difficult to overcome with healing for parties without the ability to purify poison effects. This change should make the ability easier to counter.
    • Kula the Butcher
      • Mutilating Ax damage reduced by 9%.
    • Shadow of Zul
      • Health reduced by 6%.
      • Players can no longer access King Dazar's room without first defeating Zul's shadow.

  • Many legendary weapons can now be transmogrified.
    • Developer Comment: The Azzinoth Warglaives dropped by Illidan in the Black Temple are an exception, because Demon Hunters already have a specific way to achieve this Transmogrification Skin in Timewalking in the Black Temple and we don't want devalue that one-time reward.
  • Many illusion enchantments can now be obtained.
  • The Rustbolt Resistance insignia now only grants reputation up to Exalted.

    • Rank 2 now costs 8 PRO drawers and 4 galvanic oscillators (instead of 20 PRO drawers and 10 galvanic oscillators).
    • Rank 3 now costs 20 PRO drawers and 8 galvanic oscillators (instead of 40 PRO drawers and 15 galvanic oscillators).
    • There are no changes to acquire rank 4 of these essences.
  • Follower experience requirements for ranks 2 and 3 of the Memory of Lucid Dreaming Essence have been reduced from 3000/6000 to 2400/4800.
  • Players with Revered reputation with their corresponding Nazjatar faction will now be able to exchange Sparkling Mana Pearls for account-bound reputation tokens.
    • Developer Comment: We hope these Nazjatar account-bound reputation tokens complement the existing ones that can be created in Mechagon. This way, players who have unlocked Rank 3 Essence on their main character will have a way to speed up the progression of their alternate characters.
  • Assassin Bounty Bags now contain the same loot, regardless of the zone they were acquired from.

  • Azerite Equipment
    • Overwhelming Power (Azerite Trait)
      • Fixed a bug that caused Overwhelming Power (Rank 2) to trigger more often based on haste rating, benefiting from Haste more than intended.
        • Developer Comment: We discovered a bug related to Overwhelming Power that caused it to trigger more often as the player's haste increased, meaning that the effect of this attribute was doubled. We know that Overwhelming Power is one of your favorite Azerite traits, due in part to this bug, and we don't intend to disable it. However, the rate at which it was growing made any loadout without Overwhelming Power seem suboptimal, so we had to fix it. We will monitor this trait closely to ensure that its performance remains satisfactory despite this change.
    • Heart of Azeroth
      • Players can now unlock a new secondary slot in their Heart of Azeroth at level 75.

Here are three of the new Tier 1 specs for Healing, DPS, and Tank. In addition to their active and passive abilities, these new essences also grant 10 resistance to corruption.
        • Spirit of Preservation (Rank 1)
          • Main: Channel a beam of energy at an ally, healing them significantly for 3 seconds.
          • Secondary: Every 5 seconds, you gain Devout Spirit, causing your next Flash Heal, Flash of Light, Regrowth, Vivify, Shadow Mending, or Healing Surge to heal for a small additional amount. It stacks up to 3 times.
        • Breath of the Dying (Rank 1)
          • Main: You burn your target with a bolt of Azerite, dealing massive Fire damage instantly. If the target is below 20% health, the 45 second cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds.
          • Secondary: Your spells and abilities have a chance to deal a moderate amount of Fire damage to your target.
        • Touch of the Eternal (Rank 1)
          • Main: You save yourself from your next death. Instead, you regenerate up to 20% of your maximum health and reduce damage taken by 85% for 3 seconds. This effect cannot occur more than once every 10 min.
          • Secondary: When your health drops below 35%, you gain a moderate amount of Dodge for 15 seconds, and your next active mitigation lasts 30% longer.
    • Condensed life force
      • Guardian Azerite Spikes damage debuff reduced to 3% increased damage (was 5%).
      • Guardian Azerite Spike cast time increased to 2,5 seconds (was 2 seconds).
        • Developer Comment: Regarding Condensed Life Force, the increased cast time was intended to correct a bug that caused the Guardian to cut off their own casts when a character gained enough haste to cast in less time than the cast time. global reuse. However, this particular essence, which is primarily passive, was the first choice of most specs for situations where there was both one target and multiple targets. Therefore, in addition to increasing the cast time, we considered that it was necessary to reduce the increase in damage that the player receives from the essence.
    • Purification protocol
      • Primary Power Rank 1 damage increased by 15%.
      • Prime Power Rank 2 can now be applied to targets that are part of raid and dungeon encounters.
    • The force unleashed
      • Primary Power Rank 1 damage increased by 40%.
      • Lower Power Rank 1 duration changed to 4 seconds (was 3 seconds).

  • Climatic powers
    • Blizzard now increases all damage from elemental abilities by 25%.
    • Barrizal now increases all critical damage dealt by 25%.
    • New type of weather: Toxic fumes
      • Deals Dragonkin damage to the enemy active pet and applies the Toxic Emanations weather effect.
      • Toxic Emanations increases the duration of enemy damage over time effects by 1 round.
      • All pets are considered poisoned while Toxic Fumes is active.
  • Damage reduction limited to 75%.
    • Developer Comment: This change will reduce the difficulty of some enemy bosses. Previously, if you were up against a pet like Unit 17 in Mechagon (a boss pet that takes 50% less damage passively) and used Crouch, it would become immune to damage because the two 50% debuff effects stack . Now, following the same example, when Crouch is active, Unit 17 will take 75% less damage instead of 100%. Remember that abilities such as Dodge or Deflection will continue to avoid all damage and will not be affected by this change.
