- Open the Blizzard desktop app Battle.Net and select World of Warcraft from the game selection menu on the left.
- In the Version drop-down menu, select World of Warcraft Classic. If you have more than one World of Warcraft account, you will see a second dropdown called Accounts. In that column select the active account that you want to associate with your WoW Classic installation.
- Select Install. The progress bar will show you when the installation is complete.

The global pre-launch test of WoW Classic It will begin on Thursday, August 8 at 8pm CEST and is scheduled to end on Friday, August 9.
This test will be available to all players of World of Warcraft with a current subscription or active game time in all regions. The maximum character level will be 15.
We ask all of you to come in and play as much as possible during the first two hours of the test (between 8pm and 10pm CEST) as this is the period of time during which we will review and check for possible important incidents for the launch.

We already have the minimum specifications necessary to play WoW Classic on PC or Mac. Please note that they are much lower than the minimum specifications to play Battle for Azeroth. The recommended requirements are the same for both versions.
In our hardware tests we discovered that we could run Classic on systems released between 2007 and 2009 and thanks to improvements in how we build and distribute game data we have made space requirements lower than they were in version 1.12 of the game. Original WoW.
