Today is a very sad day for us. Today we announce the closure of Raideando. This project to which we have dedicated more than a year of our life, a lot of effort and enthusiasm but which in the end has had a premature end.
The objective of this project had been to offer you the EQDKP service entirely in Spanish, with tools that would make the management of your brotherhoods much easier. There are many brotherhoods that have made Raideando their website.
As you have seen, since Raideando saw the light, the solution to problems as serious as not being able to use the forums were slow to arrive. A few days ago a user told us in the forum if we only solved problems for paying users. That the situation was outrageous. Totally agree. In addition, many of you have noticed that Raideando was not updated to the EQDKP version for Cataclysm, that the integration addon gave numerous LUA errors and other errors that have been collected in our forum by users.
What is the basis of all these problems? Why can't we fix it?
Raideando is a joint project of GuíasWoW and EQDKP. Belelros did the translation, we provide basic support, we do the registrations and so on, but EQDKP is the owners and programmers of the tools. As we agreed with the German developers, we religiously reported bugs, while we responded to your tickets and threads and waited for the solution from the development team.
But there has been no answer, at any time, for any of the problems.
We were counting on that Cataclysm appeared on dates that for many could coincide with holidays and we wanted to give that margin to the team and even set a date as December 30 to carry out the update (16 days after the launch of Cataclysm) after a great insistence by Belelros. Although the date is so notorious, we were there to try to offer you a quality service but, simply, they did not appear.
After this, we have sent numerous emails and conversation attempts by different means without receiving any response, so we understand that they ignore what happens with this service even though we have a signed contract.
So now what?
At this point, we realized that we cannot continue to offer a product of such poor quality, because you do not deserve it.
As much as we could continue attending tickets, registering or answering in the forums, the services and any problem that there is in Raideando we cannot solve it. So, after more than two months of silence on their part, and a long meeting with the team, we decided that the shutdown was the best solution since we do not have a development team that can take care of such maintenance.
The service will be totally suspended on January 27 and, from this moment on, any pending registrations will be suspended and no further registrations may be made. If someone wants an SQL endorsement of their brotherhood, they just have to ask for it before this day. It is necessary that, for this, you send us an email to support@raideando.com from the account that registered the brotherhood and indicating the name of the web.
We would like to apologize to all the users who have used the service and we have no words to describe the embarrassment we feel at this moment. We greatly regret the situation. We will do everything possible so that you always have all the possible tools in Spanish and we hope to bring you some surprises later and that it is not all bad news. Although today is a black day for us.
