Good morning, and welcome to a new Artifact Traits and Characteristics article. On this occasion we put our gauntlet on Veraguardia, the artifact of the protection paladin. This data is taken from Legion Alpha build 21154.
Trueguard
The Protection Paladin artifact is made up of 2 artifacts, like all dual classes. The sword oathseeker which has no traits or passive effects, and the shield truthguard (Trueguard) which is the main artifact and has the following passive effect:
-Watcher's Retaliation; Trueguard has a chance to retaliate with a blast of Holy damage against attackers.
Traits
Initial trait
- Eye of tyrUnleash a blinding flash of Trueguard, dealing holy damage to all enemies within 8 yards and reducing all damage taken by 25% for 9 seconds.
Minor features
- Scatter the shadows: Increases the healing of Protector light 10% / 20% / 30%.
- Unflinching Defense: Reduces the cooldown of Red-hot defender 10s / 20s / 30s.
- Heart of the avenger: Increases the damage of Avenger's Shield 3% / 6% / 10%.
- Forbearant Faithful: Each Abstinence you provoke increases the cooldown of abilities that provoke by 50% Abstinence.
- Stern Judgment: Increases the critical chance of Judgment.
- hammer time: Increases the damage of Hammer of the Righteous 3% / 6% / 10%.
- Consecration in Flame: Increases the duration of Consecration 1s / 2s / 3s.
- Painful Truths: You Red-hot defender Deals damage for each melee hit you deal.
- Solve of Truth: Increases your health by 2% / 4% / 6%.
- Righteous Crusader: Increases the damage and damage reduction of Shield of the Righteous 3% / 6% / 10%.
- Faith's Armor: Increase your armor 10% / 20% / 30% when you are below 40% of your health.
- Sacrifice of the Just: Reduces the cooldown of Sacrificial blessing 60 seconds
Elite traits
- Bulwark of Order: Avenger's Shield gives you an absorb equal to the total damage dealt (from Avenger's Shield).
- Tyr's Enforcer: Avenger's Shield Deals area damage within 5 yards of each enemy hit by Avenger's Shield.
- Light of the titans: Hammer of the Righteous boost your next Protector's Light, causing additional healing until canceled.
