Hello, I am Goldradir from Sanguino and I have come to share my opinion on the changes to the paladin.

About the new skills

Blinding Shield (Level 81): Is it clear right? It is a skill rather for Healers and Tanks in PvE but I think it will be indispensable both for these ramifications of the paladin and for the Paladin Retribution, which lacking silence will have to resort to this. So you paladins of the world, find yourself a good shield because you are going to need it. 😉

Healing Hands (Level 83): I personally think that this was the skill that we paladins in the Holy branch needed. It is clear that it is still unknown how it will work 100% but I think it will be an indispensable skill in any raid from a healer's point of view. From what you see in the trailer they say it will be something like a healing current totem for shamans or a sacred nova for a priest. I honestly believe that we already needed it because of the fact that our cures used to always go to the two tanks using the light signal.

Guardian of the Ancient Kings (Level 85): Well this was one of the most coveted abilities, that paladin has never dreamed of having a partner hitting you and that you can also invoke at any time (As long as it is not on cooldown). I think we have all dreamed of it at some time. Apparently this guardian will help both holys and tanks and retrys, there are the changes.

Sagrado: Well, according to what I have been able to read, it will heal the target with the least health of your group / band, which I see is not unnecessary but not indispensable since it could cure the same target as you.

Protection: I see it that way, it will be a guardian that will receive damage, I do not know if it can be healed, but in case it can be healed I think it would be very useful to apply the light signal of the healer paladin on it (Assuming that the signal of the light lasts 1 minute or so depending on several factors, and knowing that the guardian will have time of use), and I see it as an indispensable magic when it comes to tank.

Retribution: This has been the branch that I have chosen the most during the wowtlk (Having also been Sacred and Protection but to a lesser extent) and in my opinion, it was a more than necessary change. If it is true, that a retribution paladin does a lot of damage, but it is not enough to catch up with other classes (say feral druid or his fellow plates) that's why I say from here: Thank you Blizzard, I hope you do not regret it and you nerf us again as in the wowtlk, by the crys of the other classes.

Changes in talents

Changes to the defenses of the sacred and retribution branches: Well, as it says there, they want to reduce the duration of the pomp, this will not be well received by the paladins but sooner or later we will get used to it, I only hope that they also reduce the duration of fear, cyclone, sheep, frog, ice cube, pain suppression, evasion, and that cute hunter ability called deflection. Since they nerf that they also nerf other classes, that the Paladins ALSO WANT SURVIVAL, enough with not being able to use Pomp and wings at the same time (Which I saw very well since other classes like Shaman continue to give you for frog hair or the evasion of the rogue that dodges many blows and continues to hit the same), it is true that pomp makes us immune to EVERYTHING but it is an advantage that we have since Warcraft 3, and for that reason it is different, not for that reason it should be nerfed.

Changes in DPS mechanicsWell, I really don't know what Blizzard means by making retribution paladins dps tricky, I don't know if they think it's button pounding right now or what, but come on, they'll know, I hope it makes the paladin more fun and not to destroy it.

New cure: Yes gentlemen, we will have a new cure, apparently they want Holy Light to remain as an intermediate cure between Flash of Light and this new one, they will have thought: `` There are still boses in which a paladin cannot lift the tank alone, let's give them another fatter thing still '' and that's how it is, they will give it to us but I doubt that it lasts long for the crys in pvp that is, take advantage of it.

Sacred Shield expanded at 30 minutes: It was a long-awaited change, I think there is not much more to say other than that the Sacred Shield has become a defensive ability widely used by everyone.

Changes in Light Signal: Apparently they want Signal of Light to only work with Flash of Light, a change that I see a little unnecessary because in fact, as has already been said in comments and others, it is a change that will be noticed quite little, since it used to be used like this, except in bosses with explosive damage (Say Lord Marrow or others) that is used with Holy Light.

Holy shield will have no charges: I see this change as necessary for tanks since in groups with many enemies it was consumed too quickly.

Spirit as mana regenerationWell, well, it's a change like any other, sooner or later the intellect had to end.

On changes in skills and mechanics

Crusader Strike from level 1: Man, it's a change that will help make riding a paladin more fun, but I hope Paladins Retribution will receive another compensatory ability, or at least some talent that increases the damage considerably with this ability.

Changes in blessings: It is a change that I liked, from now on I will snort x2 but I will spend for one.

Changes in Clean: Totally nerfed, but to all classes, not only to us, because if Paladin Retribution was chosen in PvP for dispelling various cc's, with the new system I don't think anyone is sure how it will end.

Sacred Shock as a core healing: It seems like a good change to me, since being Sacred was quite boring before, and now with so many changes that are being made, IT IS WORTHY to go to the Sacred branch.

So that you understand the message I want to give from these advances, the Paladin has benefited a lot, because if we look at the good, we have a pet (temporary and we cannot use his skills but we have it), a cc that requires a shield, but we have it , and an area healing that I think we can always use, being in protection, sacred and Retribution. They have made the healer more fun, the dps more "complicated to handle" and the tanking more bearable. If we look at the bad things, they have cut us off time for pomp (which I see unfair and unreasonable), they have taken away our intellect to put us spirit when it comes to reg. Mana (Change that I DO see quite normal), they have redesigned the clean, and little else.

Anyway, this has been it, I am Goldradir/Kheev greetings to all, and thanks for reading my article.
