Aloha! Wonderful news from Blizzard for Warcraft III fans: more content, graphical enhancements, and insertion to the Battle.net platform with various functionalities. Yujuu!
Patch 1.27 for Warcraft III: Insertion in Battle.net and more!
It seems that the great classic that many of us played or continue to play before World of Warcraft is going to be updated! A video was aired in which Robert Bridenbecker spoke to the Chinese Warcraft III community. He comments that this new patch will be officially released to the entire Warcraft III world community, regardless of the region, on March 15, which is tomorrow.
With this update Blizzard was able to see first-hand a wave of new visits in older Blizzard games, such as Warcraft. It was recently announced that Diablo II will also receive a patch, so it will be super interesting to see where this is going. For now, very little is known about the content of the patch.
A platform, NetEase, was introduced in China that enabled features such as matchmaking and enhancements to communication engines. This platform is the one referred to at the beginning of the video.
So far all this content is known but it is speculated that Blizzard is keeping things up its sleeve including:
- Features on Battle.net.
- Matchmaking system.
- Communication with your friends.
- Improved and updated graphics.
- New missions and content.
We believe that between today and tomorrow the notes of this patch will be known in full but at the moment we only have this. Still, it is great news that many of us are slapping our ears. Hopefully you plan to keep improving and creating content. The Warcraft community will always appreciate that the classics are left in the trunk of memories (uuuu!).
