Ra Den, the Shattered

Hello guys. We continue with the guides of the new Ny'alotha gang, Waking City with the encounter against Ra Den the Shattered in its normal and heroic modes.

Ny'alotha, City of Awakening

Enter the abode of nightmares in Ny'alotha, Waking City, a band deep in the void-pregnant heart of the Black Empire. Face unhinged heralds and inscrutable terrors, in the end, come face-to-face with N'Zoth himself in the ultimate battle for the survival of Azeroth.

The sleeping city of Ny'alotha has awakened. For the first time in millennia, N'Zoth takes his throne in the Black Empire. Their armies emerge from dark chambers to once again wreak havoc on Azeroth. With the world shaken by these invasions, a desperate plan is hatched: the champions of the Horde and the Alliance meet to face this ancient enemy in their own kingdom in a final battle that will decide the fate of the universe.

Ra Den the Shattered

Ra Den fought valiantly to defend the Chamber of Heart, but was drawn into Ny'alotha, where he has become a victim of N'zoth's whispers. The anguish he has felt for so many years has consumed his hopes, and this has completed the corruption. Now the former high sentinel will do his best to carry out the orders of the old god.

Summary

Ra Den regularly draws essences of Vita and Void from other realms. The essences that reach Ra Den empower it with energy of this type.

Upon reaching 40% health, Ra Den begins drawing energy directly from the realms. this allows Ra Den to cast spells empowered by both energies.

Strategy

This is a combat that consists of two phases in which the band will be located in a group with Ra Den for most of the combat and will only have to move on the occasions that the encounter requires it.

Tanks must be very aware of the attack Nullifying Strike, which will damage them and reduce their maximum healing by 20% for 25 seconds, so they must be changed every two stacks.

When the two orbs come out from each side, one from Vita and the other from Void, and head towards Ra Den, our task will be to defeat one of them at a time to avoid being empowered and killing us. If we repeat orb, it will get enraged and it will also kill us.

We start with the Orb of the Void and we will gain the three abilities of the Vita orb.

1. Ra Den will use a raid detonation that deals moderate damage and in which healers will need to be vigilant. It will only happen by absorbing the power of Vita's orb so it won't be too complicated.
2. A Crackling stalker that he will have to take the free tank and that it will be our priority until we kill him since he will use Chain of lightning with multiple players.
3. Unstable vita it is the most important skill. It will mark a player with a 7 second detonation. After finishing, he will jump to the farthest player leaving behind a debuff of Exposure to instability , 300% damage taken over 30 seconds, jumping up to 5 times.

A good method to deal with this ability would be to select multiple players in two positions, such that when one player receives Unstable vita and leave him the exposure damage, stand next to the rest of the band to avoid receiving it again. If the players in charge do it well, it will be very simple.

The next orb that we will defeat will be Vita's and we will gain the 3 abilities corresponding to the Void orb.

1. Ra Den will gain an absorb shield that will deal damage every 3 seconds until we break it.
2. A Void Hunter that he will have to take the free tank and that will be our priority. Their skill Void Collapse, it will make a detonation against the larger group having to divide its damage. That is why we must all stay together.
3. Unstable vacuum, an orb that will hit a marked area and bounce multiple times. It must be covered by a player who will receive exposure so we will not be able to repeat players. If it is not covered, we will receive a great detonation of the band being silenced for 8 seconds.

After this, we will return with the other orb and so on until we phase change to 40%.

In this phase we will use Heroism, Blood lust o Temporal distortion.

In this final phase, Ra Den will do more damage. You will get an aura of Ruin it will deal damage every 25 seconds to the entire raid. We must make good use of the areas of healing, but we cannot always be together. Every so often it will Void Eruption performing several random detonations that will cause us a lot of damage.

We will have to be together, part with the eruptions and get back together.

Tanks, at 100% Ra Den energy will receive Rotten Strike, which in addition to damage will deal 35% of the player's health at that moment as damage for 10 seconds.

We will have to be very careful because it will do a lot of damage and on the part of the band two players will be linked by Links loaded taking increasing damage until they separate far enough to break the chains. As soon as he links us, we must quickly move away.

As time goes on, Ra Den will be empowered with Persistent energies, increasing all his damage cumulatively in a final stretch until we kill him or he kills us.

Heroic mode

In heroic mode there won't be many changes.

We will have the same abilities only with more life and they will also do more damage so we will not have to make any mistakes to finish the fight successfully.
