LootHog: Sorting the dice

Hello, I'm Naini and I want to introduce you to a new member who has joined our family of GuíasWoW. Called tosundelmarg and will contribute his knowledge for the help of the Community. It has started with a very useful addon for gangs. We hope you like it. Let's welcome Tosundelmarg.

Loot Hog is an especially useful tool on Bands. As is customary in these bands, the item distribution system is carried out by means of a Master Looter and rolling dice (we avoid the use of DKPs and the like). Sometimes, with so much dice it becomes a really difficult task to know who has won, who has rolled twice, etc ... Well, Loot Hog allows us to store the rolls or / dice that people in the group or band roll and announce their winner. It also has certain configurable nuances that I will explain later. In essence, this tool allows us to organize the distribution of objects in a more comfortable way and without possible complaints.

AddOn Configuration

Entering the Interface and displaying the addon tab we find 3 submenus to configure our AddOn.

loothog_01

Enable LootHog - It allows us to turn the addon on or off in case we don't want to use it.

Only count rolls when I have started Loothog - It allows us NOT to count the rolls prior to launching ours (This is useful if you are a master looter and you don't want anyone to roll ahead of time).

Automatically show window when someone rolls - Enables the activation of the addon when someone rolls dice.

Disable LootHog if someone else announces - To avoid conflicts, this option prevents our LootHog from stepping on that of another player who has already announced.

Count rolls from group members only - Only the dice of the group members will count and not the whole band.

Prevent / random rolls from appearing in the chatlog - Avoid the random rolls that appear in the chat.

Acknowledge rolls via / whisper to roller - Notify the person pulling the "storage" of their roll (This is a nuisance and a bit annoying for the rest).

Show the Announce All Loot Button - Activate a button to announce the spoils of the dead to know what objects will be thrown.

Only if I'm Master Looter - The addon will only be activated if you are the Master Looter.

Rejec rolls with bounds other than - Discriminate the rolls outside the minimum and maximum range that you mark.

Allow Offspec rolls (101 - 200) - Enable the second team rolls in that range (I'm not sure if it works at all).

Tell me when a roll has been rejected - Notifies you of the runs that have been discriminated.

Announce on Start - Announce the start of the dice roll.

Announce Eligible Classes - Announce the possible classes.

For tokens only - Just for the chips.

Set LootHog timeout to X seconds - Selection of the maximum time for runs for the item.

Announce timeout on start - Announce the maximum time at the beginning.

Automatically countdown last X seconds - Count automatically in the last X seconds.

Reset time to X seconds if roll detected in the last X Second - Reset the spin time if a spin is detected in the last X seconds.

Announce roll extensions - Announce the extension of time.

Automatically announce offspec if no-one rolls - Automatically announce the second team roll if no one rolls.

Announce on off-spec - Announce second team with a text.

Enable offspec timeout and set to X seconds - Activate a maximum time for the second team.

Announce after timeout expires - Announce the maximum time of the second team.

Finalize rolling when all group members have rolled - Finish the distribution of loot when everyone in each group has rolled.

Submit top X rolls to chat when announcing - Show X number of spins in the chat when the winner is announced.

Close LootHog window after announcing a winner - Close LootHog when the winner is announced.

Clear rolls when closing main window - Clean the stored runs when closing the LootHog window.

loothog_03

Announce Rules - You announce the rules (if they are activated in the options).

Announce - You announce the loot winner.

Options - Takes you to the aforementioned options.

Hold - Restart the loot countdown.

Kick roll - Select a roll and press this button to delete it for whatever reason you consider (It will be announced so that the rest know).

Home - Starts the collection of spins.

not rolled - Announce those who have not shot.

Roll - It is equivalent to you throwing.

Passport - It is equivalent to announcing that you pass to shoot.

loothog_05

Here we can observe the circulation of several people. The one marked in Red is our spread, to guide us where we have left off. Those that are above the dotted line are those that have already rolled dice and those that are below are those that remain to roll.

As you can see, the addon tells us the name, its class and its level, allowing us to know if the loot is suitable or not for those who roll dice.

loothog_06

Giving Announce we can see how in the raid it announces the positions in which they have been and finally the winner. In addition to telling us who wins, he tells us his roll and his group (comfort to distribute the object). If we had announced the object when starting the loot, it would indicate which object has won.

Note: The color in the name (depends on the class) is not for the LootHog but for another addon that I use for the chat.

To finish I add that in the addon options (in the Interface window and others) we can see the commands in chat for the addon in case you want to create macros and others, they are the same as the previously translated options, if you have any questions do not hesitate in posting it.

Thanks to Âredhel, Juanjitus, Agathor and Jataniya for being my guinea pigs a little bit.

I hope you find both the AddOn and its guide useful.
