Strategy

Having defeated his 3 lieutenants, the path to Halion will be available. It is a combat that does not require any special composition although it is advisable to bring Paladins / Priests to be able to use protection against Fire and Shadow according to the phase. Within seconds of starting combat, Halion closes the circle with fire around him, leaving any player not inside out of combat.

Since it is a Dragon, it has the typical abilities and the DPS will need to be placed on the side. For better maneuverability of DPS and Healers during the encounter, it is advisable to place the Dragon glued to one of the walls of fire, leaving the entire space free.

Phase 1

During the first phase, there will only be 2 abilities that can cause problems.
The first is Fiery combustion that you will use on a random player. The player must move away towards one of the edges quickly and once there, a Priest or a Paladin will dispel the Magic causing the player to explode, throwing the rest of the nearby players back, and leaving a circle of fire under their feet that grows if It hurts and it is bigger the more marks you have allowed to grow. It is necessary that this process be fast and that it be left on the edges to continue having space and thus move.

In addition, you will use Meteor strike on a random player. We will see that the player will start to burn in a similar way to the Warlock's ability, Infernal Flames. Although the ability is instantaneous, the meteorite takes between 5 and 6 seconds to arrive, so players must quickly move away from the marked place (including the affected one) since it does damage on impact, and lines of fire emerge from it in one ' X 'from the point of impact to the wall that… they burn! These are easy to dodge so they shouldn't cause too much trouble.

At 70%, Halion proceeds to the next phase.

Phase 2

As soon as Phase 2 begins, Halion will open a portal to the Twilight Realm that the entire gang will enter except for the Physical Realm Tank, as the dragon will not take damage in the physical world. It is highly recommended that the Tank be the first to enter the Twilight Realm to avoid threat issues. Once inside the portal, the Tank must place Halion in the center without anyone standing in front of it.
This phase is very similar to the first with some differences. We will notice that all players take constant shadow damage from Shroud of Dusk. All Fire damage is now Shadow damage and Soul consumption attracts players instead of knocking them down.

However, instead of Meteorites, he will summon two Shadow Pulsars. These two orbs appear at opposite ends of the room and will always surround the combat area. Shortly after appearing, they will launch a beam that will connect them. This beam does a lot of damage to any player by killing them in a few seconds so the entire band (including the tank) must move with the dragon avoiding that any player touches the beam. The pulsars will be continuously moving and will launch lightning for 10 seconds, after which it will rest for 20 seconds and then return for 10 more seconds and so on.

You have to be especially careful in this phase due to the shadow circles that the players will leave behind. Soul consumption and the continuous movement required by the Pulsars.

halion_reino_twilight

At 50% Halion will enter the third and final phase, the phase that divides the gang.

Phase 3

When you start the third phase, you will open 2 portals to the physical realm. Halion will exist in both Kingdoms and the raid must split in two. One half of the band must return to the Physical Realm with a tank, while the other will remain in the Twilight Realm. This phase is not a DPS race and the main objective is to balance the DPS that is done on both sides due to the effect of Corporality. If Halion takes more damage in the Physical Realm, her Corporality will drop below 50% and will deal more damage to players in the Twilight Realm and vice versa.

To give us an idea:

  • Less than 50% Corporality: Halion deals and takes more damage in Twilight Realm. Deals and takes less damage in the Physical Realm.
  • 50% Corporality: Halion deals and takes normal damage on both realms.
  • Corporality greater than 50%: Halion deals and takes more damage in the Physical Realm. Deals and takes less damage in Twilight Realm.

Obviously it is best to keep it around 50%, but between 40% and 60% is a good number. If we get out of these margins we run the risk of being unbalanced quickly because it will receive more damage and the percentage will grow rapidly. Fortunately, the portals remain open in case we want to do some sort of cross-realm DPS adjustment. Without a doubt, the Band Leader must be attentive to all this to avoid problems.

Halion will keep the abilities of each Kingdom as in their respective phases.
