Tailoring Guide 1-450

Welcome to the Tailoring Guide 1-450 that will show you how to quickly and easily climb this profession. Updated to patch 3.2.

To climb this profession you will need a lot of cloths and they are not usually cheap. You can go find them yourself or buy them at auction, but you should know that if you are going to buy them you will need a lot of money. This profession is ideal to combine it with Enchantment, because in this way you can disenchant most of the objects that you will create, you can also ask a friend to disenchant you. You can check our Enchanting Guide, to raise that profession.

Remember that this guide is made so that you can climb the profession as quickly as possible, many times the objects that you create will not be the best for your level or will not sell well, in case you want to sell them.

Tailoring Specializations

Tailors are level 60 or higher with a Tailoring skill of 350 they must make an important decision, their Specialization. Each of these three specializations will give access to a number of their own much more special recipes for garments than the tailors without specialization. Each specialization provides specific pick-picking patterns geared toward different classes / branches.

Mooncloth tailoring (healing): Allows the tailor to have access to the patterns of the garments "pick up when picking up" Primal Mooncloth SetIt also allows you to create an extra lunar cloth or lunar veil when creating them.

Tailoring with shade fabric (Shadow (Priests) / Ice (Mages)): Allows the tailor to have access to the patterns of the “pick up” garments from the Shadow Embrace SetIt also allows you to create a shadow cloth or extra ebony fabric when creating them.

Spellfire Tailoring (Fire / Arcane (Mages)): Allows the tailor to have access to the patterns of the "pick up" garments from Spellfire Wrath SetIt also allows you to create an extra spell cloth or spell fabric when creating them.

Grand Master Tailor 350 - 450

350 – 375
595 x Bolt of Frostweave (2975 x Frostweave Cloth)

375 – 380
5 x Frostwoven Belt (15 x Bolt of Frostweave5 x Eternium thread)

380 – 385
5 x Frostwoven Boots (20 x Bolt of Frostweave5 x Eternium thread)

385 – 395
13 x Frostwoven Hood (65 x Bolt of Frostweave13 x Eternium thread)

395 – 400
5 x Dawnweave Belt (35 x Bolt of Frostweave5 x Eternium thread)

400 – 405
120 x Bolt of Imbued Escacha Weave (240 x Bolt of Frostweave240 x Infinite dust)

405 – 410
5 x Dawnweave Wrist Covers (40 x Bolt of Frostweave5 x Eternium thread)

410 – 415

5 x Dawnweave Gloves (45 x Bolt of Frostweave5 x Eternium thread)

415 – 425
13 x Dawnweave Boots (130 x Bolt of Frostweave13 x Eternium thread)

425 – 440
20 x Frostweave Bag (120 x Bolt of Imbued Escacha Weave40 x Eternium thread)

Making 20 bags should be enough, it depends a lot on luck. The recipe turns yellow at 430 and green at 440, but we recommend making them because they sell very well at auction, so you can get enough money for them. Do not put them all at the same time, it may take a long time to sell them but it is the best. Try to make bags for your friends, colleagues or offer yourself in the trade channel to make bags in exchange for the materials.

The materials per bag are (to make it easier for you when ordering them 😉):
60 x Frostweave Cloth
12 x Infinite dust
2 x Eternium thread

440 – 450
When you get to 440 you can make new epic recipes, the best way to go up is to find players who need those objects and create them for them if they bring you the materials. You can also keep doing Frostweave Bags.

I hope this guide is useful for you. Congratulations, you are already a Tailor!

Whoops! This guide is a bit outdated. We have created a Tailoring Guide 1-525 which is up to date (or so we hope).

It seems to me that in the part of making skeins of runic cloths, 780 is exaggerated, with 300 you are very good, to make the clothes to raise the levels. I did 780 exactly, and I had 400 or 500 more or less left over.

    1.    runawaysky said

I had only 16 left over, something you must have done differently from the guide, but better this way. With what I fell short was with the silk cloths, as they said above.

Then, as in the server I'm on, they must have some other variant, because with the imbued abyssal I had many problems, they don't exist directly, or I can't find the recipe.

I recommended this guide to my friends, a hug, from WowArg.

    2.    Roy said

is that the error is that they do not ask for 780 skeins, they are 780 cloths that later become 200 cloths, that's why you had a lot more left over
