Halfus Wyrmbreaker / Halfus Wyrmbreaker Guide

The first step you meet in the Twilight's Hammer home is the Wyrmbreaker Farmer. You will see it there. A hideous two-headed beast whose task is none other than to capture and subdue the will of the dragons. You can see how he has several dragons already chained, victims of torture. It seems that it is too late for them but in your mind you know that you have to stop that beast at all costs.

Strategy

Upon entering the room, we will see that Halfus is accompanied by a Protobehemoth that, although it seems terrifying, it is not. We will not harm him in the entire fight. It will be flying and shooting fireballs at random gang members and the occasional flame breath.

In addition, we will see dragons that we can release during combat and it is important to keep in mind that there are 5 different types of dragons but we will only fight against 3 each week. Their appearance is random and they add something different to the combat each week that we do it. Dragons, when eliminated, make the Dragon revenge about Halfus, which is completely necessary to be able to finish him off. Also, they give him a special ability and tease him with another. Sadly, they are mind controlled by Halfus and have to be defeated to finish off Halfus.

The idea is to free 2 dragons while the main tank takes one of them and Halfus and, once one of them is eliminated, the third and last dragon is released. With all dragons killed (except the Protobehemoth), the party will focus on Halfus who will now take 150% more damage. Dragons should be placed on Halfus, so that any crack or blast damage that DPS can deal can be taken advantage of.

We are going to see, dragon by dragon, what it does and what it contributes and, finally, we will see an order of dragons that should be released from the beginning.

El Abyssal Successor will leave Frenzied assault which basically doubles your attack speed for the entire match. If he is released, the Draco will turn the tables on him and slow him down.

El Time Warden It allows the Protobehemoth to launch salvoes of fireballs but, when released, they will go really slow allowing us to dodge them if we move away.

El Slate Dragon It deals a lot of damage and healers will need to keep an eye on the tank's health while it maintains it. The dragon will use its Stone touch first about the band and then about Halfus. It is recommended that the tanks have enough health since while they are all petrified, they cannot be healed. As if that weren't enough, Halfus will win Malevolent blows which leaves a reduced healing effect on the tank so Halfus will have to be rotated between tanks every 3-4 doses.

El Storm Rider will make Halfus win Shadow Nova, an area damage that also knocks down. Releasing the dragon will allow this ability to be interrupted as it will take 1,5 seconds to cast. It is important interrupt it to facilitate the task of the healers, and avoid the interruptions derived from the takedown.

Finally, the little green dragons allow the Protobehemoth to release its breath, but when released they will apply a Atrophic poison on the Protobehemoth causing it to do less damage.

At 50% health, Halfus will gain an ability that he uses every 30 seconds: Furious roar. When he uses this ability, he will launch 3 quick roars that will deal damage and stun. Between each roar it is possible to move but we will not be able to use any skills. At this time, the Fireballs should be avoided. The tank should activate some special ability before it begins so that it can stay alive, while the healers leave it some healings over time. If he Storm Rider was present, Halfus will use the Shadow Nova right after the three roars.

Priority

  1. Time Warden: Released at the start of combat
Storm riders: Released at the start of combat
  2. Abyssal Successor: If only one of the two above is available, the successor should be released as well
  3. Orphan Emerald Alga
  4. Slate Dragon: It is the last because it is the one with the most health. It should be released last.
