Lord Pyroclast's Guide (Lord Rhyolith)

Pyroclast is one of the oldest elementals in existence, born from the primeval fires that forged Azeroth itself. He is responsible for the creation of new elementals in the Firelands and still professes a staunch hatred of the Titans for transferring him, which he considers monumental arrogance.

  • Level:??
  • Type: Magma Giant
  • "Salud": 15,520,000 [10] / ??? [25]

The heroes face a difficult challenge: attack this enormous magma giant while forcing him to move, against his will, between volcanic eruptions that will end up signing his sentence ... or yours.

Skills

Phase 1

lord-rhyolith

Lord Pyroclast ignores players as long as his obsidian armor remains intact, but you can attack his feet to control his movement.

  • Obsidian armor: Lord Pyroclast awaits you protected with a cloak of Obsidian Armor that reduces all damage he takes by 80%. Obsidian Armor is reduced by 10% each time it passes over an active volcano.

    • Liquid Obsidian - Liquid Obsidian moves towards Lord Pyroclast and will melt into him when it hits him, increasing his damage reduction by 1%.
  • Concussion stompLord Pyroclast hits the ground, dealing 36,060 points of fire damage to all players and knocking down all players within 20 meters. Each stomp creates two to three volcanoes.

    • Volcano: Lord Pyroclast activates a Volcano, causing it to inflict 6,180 points of fire damage to 3 players every second. When hit, the player takes an additional 10% fire damage over 20 seconds. This effect stacks up to 20 times.
    • Crater: When passing over an active volcano, Lord Pyroclast creates a volcano. Occasionally Lord Pyroclast causes streams of lava that flow from the crater. Moving currents inflict 77,250 points of fire damage to any player in their path.
After 10 seconds, the lava stream erupts, inflicting 154,500 to any player standing on it.
  • Thermal ignition: Lord Pyroclast unleashes two jets of ash, inflicting 15,450 points of fire damage to players at less than 7 meters and creating either 5 Pyroclast Fragments or 1 Pyroclast Spark.

    • Pyroclast Fragment: Pyroclast Shards have low health. If they are not removed within 30 seconds, they will deal their current health as damage to a random player.
    • Pyroclast Spark: Pyroclastic Sparks inflict 8,890 to all players within 12 yards of them.
      • Hellish rage: Pyroclast Sparks increase damage dealt by 10% and damage taken by 10% every 5 seconds. This effect stacks up to 20 times.

  • Drinking magma: If Lord Pyroclast reaches the edge of his plateau, he drinks from the liquid magma, inflicting 36,050 points of fire damage every second to all players for 4 seconds.

Phase 2

rhyolith-melted

Once Lord Pyroclast reaches 25% of his health, his Obsidian Armor is broken and you can attack him normally. Additionally, it will no longer ignore players.

  • Immolation: Lord Pyroclast's fiery presence inflicts 8,375 points of fire damage to all players every second.

  • Unleashed flameLord Pyroclast unleashes bolts of fire that pursue random players, dealing 10,300 points of fire damage to all players within 5 meters of the bolt's location.

Strategy

The combat, at least the beginning, is based on attacking Pyroclast's feet to prevent it from reaching the edge of the platform and Drink magma and make him go through the volcanoes to reduce his armor. The best thing is to separate the band into two teams: One melee for the feet of the boss and another at a distance that will take care of the enemies that will appear in combat.

The team that is in charge of moving Pyroclast must be well coordinated so that, if necessary, they quickly change the foot to attack, turning the Obsidian mass. The goal is to melt your Obsidian armor. To do this, we will use the volcanoes that will appear on the platform every time Lord Piroclasto makes a Concussion stomp. Shortly after appearing, one of the three volcanoes will begin to burn and it is the one that we will have to direct to Piroclasto.

Players must steer clear of volcanoes and magma lines that they sometimes cause to appear on the platform.

Eventually Lord Pyroclast will use Thermal Ignition which can spawn 5 Pyroclast Fragments or 1 Pyroclast Spark. Tanks must quickly catch all enemies. If you have two tanks, it would be best to assign a tank to each type of enemy.

Pyroclast Fragments must be eliminated quickly or they will deal damage equal to their remaining health to players, and given the amount of random damage that can come into play in combat, this is not recommended.

Pyroclastic Sparks, on the other hand, must be separated from the rest of the DPS as they deal fire damage in an area that also grows over time. Don't trust Sparks as they can be deadly combined with raid damage.

The priority for dealing damage should be Shards -> Sparks -> Pyroclast, although players will most likely not have too much time to deal damage to the boss.

Phase 2

When the boss's health reaches 25% health, his armor will break and a damage run will begin. Pyroclast will stop ignoring the gang and a tank will have to take it over quickly. The good news is that enemies will stop appearing but the bad news is that the Immolation will do constant fire damage to the raid.

It is time to cast Heroism / Bloodlust and it is a good idea to rally the raid at one point (2 if in 25 player mode) so that healers can use their area healing abilities to make the phase as quiet and short as possible.

Without a doubt, the hardest part of the boss is learning to steer it and make it go over volcanoes. Once you get to the second phase, you should have no problem finishing him off.
