Hey good! How is life as assassins in Azeroth? Today we want to bring you a compilation of the best one-handed sword transfigurations so that you can dress your character with style. Inside music and… action!
Best One-Handed Sword Transfigurations
As we have said before, in patch 7.3.5 the transmogrification system has been modified that, together with this new leveling system, we will have the opportunity to transform our low-level characters with parts of armor or weapons that surpass us with profit. You can enter the following link to check which objects can be transfigured and at what levels:
Transmog changes for low-level players
For this and because we want you to fight with style in any corner of Azeroth, here is a small compilation of the best one-handed sword transmogrifications that you can get for the transmogrification of your characters. Keep in mind that many of them ask for very high level requirements even though the system has been modified and, therefore, they cannot be transmogrified up to a certain level. Nothing special! Some of these swords have a lot of history behind them, while others are just there as loot. Be that as it may, let's go with the first of all.
The images in this compilation have been taken directly from WoWHead.
Flaming smuts
Have you ever thought about joining Star Wars with World of Warcraft? Although the tizonas available within the game do not have a great resemblance, they are the only weapons similar to lightsabers in the series. Up to three swords with a "different" color can be obtained:
- Spellfire Tizona: This is a sword that can be looted, at 9%, from Mennu the Traitor, boss who is in the Slave compound. I never did research on this sword and never would have imagined that this chief would give it ... how curious.
- Teebu's Flaming Tizona- Although WoWHead claims to be obtained from NPCs, this sword was missing until Warlords of Draenor. Can be looted from Large drawer of salvaged items.
- Sorcery Blade: even having a similar color to the previous one, we still have this sword as an alternative. This blade can be looted at less than 0.05% from up to six different enemies: Apocalypse guard / Sunblade Magister / Spell shadow /Illidari Bone Slicer / Shadowmoon Soldier / Shattered Hand Sharpshooter. This sword can also be obtained through auction although its price is around 150.000 gold ... I would prefer to farm it.
There are three other versions of this sword but, unfortunately, they are no longer obtainable.
Blow fire
As one of the few swords with a "good design" at low levels, the Blow fire It is a level 50 sword that can be obtained from different NPCs: dreamreaper / morphaz / Hazes / Sastron. They are all in the same dungeon called Submerged temple.
Without going any further, this sword has up to four recolors:
- Verde Blade of the Wretched: Can be looted at 29% Ogom the Wretched, boss who is in the Submerged temple.
- BLUE Frost Guard: This sword is an item that can be obtained through the profession Ironworks.. The design to make this sword is Plans: Frost Guard and you can get 8 gold, buying it from daleohm, seller found in Winter crib. Can also be looted at 0.11% Supervisor Marcrid. Its auction price is around 20.000 gold.
- Brown Blade of brutality: This sword can be obtained as loot from Garr at 20%. This boss is in the gang Magma core.
- Light Blue Crystal sword: This sword can be obtained as global loot from the dungeon Blackrock Summit. To farm it, the NPCs that give it the highest percentage (0.2%) are the following: Silitide feeder / Smoky Thorn Seer / Rockfall Mystic. Its auction price is about 300 gold.
Let us remember that the reason why I have put this sword is not because of its great design but because of the low level and the number of colors it has.
Maladath, Runed Blade of the Black Dragonflight
Although this sword may well be a greatsword, it is also a one-handed sword. Maladath, Runed Blade of the Black Dragonflight can be obtained as loot at 13% Brood Lord Capazote, boss who is in the Blackwing Lair.
There is another version of this slightly darker sword called Nightmare blade which can be obtained from up to two different NPCs. However, I do not know if they can still be obtained since they were added in version 7.2.5 of World of Warcraft as a reward from the dragons of the 13th anniversary:
- emeriss at 6% in Dusk Forest.
- Latvian at 4% in Hinterlands.
Chromatically tempered sword
La Chromatically tempered sword It is, personally, one of my favorite swords in the entire World of Warcraft, solely and exclusively by design. This beauty can be looted at 11% off Chromaggus, boss who is in the band Blackwing Lair. Two swords to farm in the same gang!
Killer of the Deceased
As another of the best known swords in the game, the Killer of the Deceased was added in Wrath of the Lich King as loot from Gothik the Harvester at 20% although it can also be released gluth 0.6%. Both heads are in naxxramas.
Predicted by Salzman.
This sword refers to one of the South Park episodes "Make love, not warcraft" (which is also an in-game achievement), in which the name of the sword "Killer of the Dead", is a poor translation of "Slayer of the Lifeless" which means "Murderer of the lifeless", and has a model very similar to Frost Agony, a sword that was used to kill Warcraft's greatest flawed, a fat man who has been around for 3 years, 24 hours a day, in front of the computer to raise a single character to the maximum level. Because this South Park character was so flawed, he "had no life" and that's when they ask, "How do you kill someone without life?"
This is how the "prophecy" that recounted how one of the most powerful swords in the game was concealed was created and that one day the true possessors of the sword would be revealed. In this way, what we know today as: "And who predicted that prophecy?" To which we would reply: "Salzman, the accountant."
This is all the information we can find by doing a little research. What do you think?
Translation stroke
Continuing with bad weapons to get and with good designs, the Translation stroke occupies this position in the compilation. This sword can be looted from up to 6 different NPCs:
- Spiral Scar Harpooner: This NPC is in the Dark temple and it can be obtained at 0.13%.
- Tempest Forge Destroyer: this NPC is in The Mechanar and it can be obtained at 0.03%.
- Blood Depositary Legionnaire: This NPC is in the Tempest Castle and it can be obtained at 0.01%.
- Shadowmoon Brute: This NPC is in the Dark temple and it can be obtained at 0.01%.
- Blood Depository Administrator: this NPC is in The Greenhouse and it can be obtained at 0.01%.
- Leviathan: This NPC is in the Dark temple and it can be obtained at 0.01%.
The percentages are quite low for this sword so we will have to pray to the titans to be lucky to obtain it although it can also be obtained at the auction for 25.000 gold.
However, there is another version of the same weapon that comes out at a higher percentage called Latro's Shifting Sword that can come out at 9% of Aeonus, boss who can be found in the Black swamp. This sword also consists of its version "Walk in time" with the same name but with a higher Item Level, the Latro's Shifting Sword (comes from the same boss mentioned above) and the Latro's Dancing Blade (loot of Vexallus 3%).
Red Sword of Courage
Another of the great World of Warcraft swords with imitations in many other games for having a great design, is the Red Sword of Courage. Even though I rarely see someone with this sword, it could very well be one of WoW's best weapon candidates (not counting the appearances of artifact weapons), obviously from my point of view. This sword can be looted at 9% King Ymiron, boss who can be found in the Utgarde Pinnacle.
As with the previous one, this one also has its version «Paseo en el tiempo» called Red Sword of Courage.
Hailstorm
Obviously, we couldn't talk about one-handed swords without adding the Hailstorm that, without a doubt, are competing for the podium for the best sword in this compilation. This sword can be looted at 21% of the Gift of Alexstrasza, chest that appears in the center of the combat scene when defeating malygos en The Eye of Eternity.
Quel'Serrar burnished
Although the position in which I have placed the swords does not mean that they are better or worse, Quel'Serrar burnished It is another of the few swords that I like so much within WoW. Its method of obtaining is the same as some of the previous ones since it is obtained by loot at 7% of Onyxia, the only boss found in the Onyxia's Lair.
The turning tide
Lastly and to end this article, we have the The turning tide, sword with a similar appearance to some of the ones we mentioned above. This sword can be obtained as loot from Kel'Thuzad 21%, a boss who appears in one of the last cameras of naxxramas.
And so far this small compilation of one-handed swords that, for me, are the best for transfiguration. I know that there are many other very good weapons but I have not wanted to place them all so as not to make the article very long and tedious.
Although I had planned to do all-slot items, I'll skip those weapons like books or orbs as they're not a big deal. Even so, as many changes have been added to the leveo system and the transmogrification system, it seemed appropriate to continue with this type of compilations and, for that reason, I will try to cover each and every one of the boxes available so far (without include the appearances of the artifact weapons, the ones I mentioned above, and of course the Demon Hunter's Glaives).
We hope you liked this article and I would like to read your answers to these questions:
- Which of the weapons in this article do you already own? Which not? Did it take you a long time to get them? Which ones are you still farming today?
- What weapons do you think should be in this compilation?
- What is your favorite among them all?
Leave your answer in the comments and see you in the next article. Greetings and a strong (> ^. ^)> Hug <(^. ^ <)!
