Better shield transmogrifications

cover best shield transfigurations

Hey good! How is life going along the timelines of Azeroth? Today we want to bring you a compilation of the best shield transfigurations so that you can equip your character with style. Inside music and… action!

Better shield transmogrifications

After we have finished the long list of all the class guides and as a rest, we will begin to return to these compilations. As we have said before, in patch 7.3.5 the transmogrification system has been modified that, together with this new leveling system, we will have the opportunity to transfigure our low-level characters with parts of armor or weapons that surpass us. . You can enter the following link to check which objects can be transfigured and at what levels:

Transmog changes for low-level players

For this and because we want you to fight in style in any corner of Azeroth, here is a compilation of the best shield transmogrifications that you can get for the transmogrification of your character. Keep in mind that many of them ask for very high level requirements even though the system has been modified. Some of these shields have a lot of history behind them, others are just there, as loot. Be that as it may, let's go with the first of all.

Skullflame Shield

Skullflame Shield

Starting the collection of shields with what for me has been one of the best transfigurations that I have ever had, Skullflame Shield It has obtained this position because, despite its simplicity in design, its percentage of obtaining is really low, in addition to having a skull on fire, that adds many points. This shield can be obtained from a large number of NPCs but for less than 0.7%. The NPC with the highest percentage is called Colossus of Regal and it was added just two months ago with the 7.3.5 patch. It is an elite "boss" who is prowling around Silithus. This great boss is very difficult to sunbathe and it takes at least 5 people to defeat him.

The auction price for this shield was around 120.000 prior to patch 7.3.5 but, as this colossus has been added with a much higher percentage, the price has dropped to 90.000 gold, which is still quite a lot of money.

There is another version exactly the same that I discovered a few seconds ago called The Vile Barrier that can be obtained at 4% of the Nexus Prince Shaffar. Why is the model so expensive? On my server it was 20.000 gold, I am not saying anything else.

Royal Crest of Lordaeron

Royal Crest of Lordaeron

Secondly, and as one of the shields that most caught my attention from the rest of the shields that appear in this compilation, the Royal Crest of Lordaeron It has a really simple design but it keeps making me fall in love. Despite the really successful colors and the Lordaeron symbol, this shield will become one of my favorites. Unfortunately I do not know the percentage at which this shield can be obtained. Can be obtained as loot from Mal'Ganis, boss found in the dungeon of The Massacre of Stratholme.

As with a large number of weapons, shields, and even equipment, there are two versions that, unfortunately, have the same color for both difficulties in which the dungeon is performed. Good luck with the shield!

Homelessness barrier

Homelessness barrier

Although the design of Homelessness barrier it is quite simple compared to the rest of the shields, it must be admitted that the aesthetics is the least striking. Unfortunately this shield is only available to the Horde, being Crystal Plate Vanguard the Alliance shield parallel to this one, a truly… horrible shield. This portable casket can be obtained at 12% off Howl, boss who is in the Trial of the Crusader.

The color of the eyes varies according to the difficulty in which we do it.

Endless winter

Endless winter

Continuing with the cool shields, Endless winter It will be the one that we will talk about in this post since I have placed it, mainly, for its design. Despite being a simple enough shield to consider adding it, the dragon shape… Anything that has dragons is good, your professional crappy compilation creator tells you 100% true! This shield can be obtained as loot from the Naval Battle that we witness as one of the two factions. The drop percentage is the same for both cases since it is still the same loot.

Depending on the difficulty in which we complete this encounter, the color of the shield will vary. In heroic it has a violet color.

Red Widow's Ward

Red Widow's Ward

As one of the most curious shields in this compilation, the Red Widow's Ward has a design that reminds us, for the most part, of the Firelands, not for that reason it is obtained in this band. What has been curious to me is the fact that this item is obtained from a boss and is not bound when picked up. Either way, this object can be obtained as a drop from Beth'tilac 9%, boss who is in the Firelands.

Its auction price is around 9.000 gold. Also, depending on the difficulty we choose, its color will vary. In Heroic the color is blue. For some reason this recolor is linked when picking it up, which makes me think that the previous one allows us to trade it, it is a mistake.

Shard of Torment

Shard of Torment

As one of the rarest shields but at the same time with a pretty cool design, the Shard of Torment It occupies this position for its design and striking colors, although it could be, perfectly, in one of the first positions for its simplicity. Be that as it may, I add it because it is quite large and the horns give it an air. The method of obtaining this weapon is very simple since it falls by loot and its drop percentage is quite high if we compare the rest of the objects that can be obtained from the same boss. The percentage is around 7% and is obtained from Baleroc, boss who is in the band of the Firelands.

As with the rest of the weapons and shields of this band, the color of the model changes according to the difficulty we choose, being blue in Heroic.

Blackrock Bulwark

Blackrock Bulwark

Even though many will think that Blackrock Bulwark It should be in last place for its enormous size, I must deny it since its design is quite simple. I'm forced to add it more than anything because it's one of the few shields that can outnumber a Highmountain Tauren, horns and all. Even so, being part of the simplest shields in design, it is one of the most complicated to remove since its percentage is really low. It can be achieved at less than 0.1%, and by less I mean that it does not touch even half the percentage that we have placed. The NPC who drops the shield the most is called Gloomy contributor.

What surprises me the most is its price at the auction since it is hovering around 250.000 gold, shamelessly rising and falling from day to day. And to think that I have this shield unlocked and I did not know its price ... damn you random!

Felforge Aegis

Felforge Aegis

Even though there aren't many designs to fiddle with, Felforge Aegis It is the shield that has earned this position for its effects and size. The design is quite simple compared to some of the previous ones but, for individual taste, it is the one that I have liked the most and, for that reason, it is in this place. Can be obtained by loot from Iron Reaver at 7%, boss who is in the band Hellfire Citadel.

In the same way as on other occasions, the color is different depending on the difficulty of the band. This time we have placed the image of Heroic in the image since it is the one that has caught my attention the most.

Mighty Blackhorn Bulwark

Mighty Blackhorn Bulwark

Although Mighty Blackhorn Bulwark it does not have an impressive design, it is beautiful enough to be considered in this compilation. The design is quite simple assimilating to one of the scales of Deathwing but what really catches my attention are the bright colors of the magma. This shield can be obtained at 9% of Blackhorn Warmaster, boss who is in the band Dragon soul.

And so far this small collection of shields that, for me, are the best for transfiguration. As you can see, the designs for the shields are not really impressive, so the same thing that happens with the polearms ends up. However, I cannot leave out any of the boxes and I will always try to bring the best designs or those that seem best to me and, also, as we always do, we add an image of the weapon along with a detailed description on how to obtain it and , if there is, some curiosity of history or other «easter eggs». Even so, as many changes have been added to the leveo system and the transmogrification system, it seemed appropriate to start with this type of compilations and, for that reason, I will continue until I cover each and every one of the boxes available so far ( not including the appearances of the artifact weapons and, of course, the Demon Hunter's glaives).

We hope you liked this article and I would like to read your answers to these questions:

  • Which of the shields that appear in this article already possess? Which not? Did it take you a long time to get them? Which ones are you still farming today?
  • What shields do you think should be in this compilation?
  • What is your favorite among them all?

Leave your answer in the comments and see you in the next article. Greetings and a strong (> ^. ^)> Hug <(^. ^ <)!
