Best Transmogrification of Two-Handed Swords and Axes
Although in this 7.3.5 patch we have had a lot of problems due to the amount of crashes that have occurred, we have to look to the future. With this new leveling system we will have the opportunity to transfigure our low-level characters with parts of armor or weapons that surpass us. For that reason and because we want you to fight in style in any corner of Azeroth, here is a compilation of the best transmogrifications of two-handed swords and axes that you can get for the transmogrification of your character. Some of them have a lot of history behind them, others are just there. Be that as it may, let's go with the first of all.
Two-handed swords
Grand Marshal's Greatsword
UPDATE: This weapon cannot be transmogrified. However, the Replica does allow transfiguration.
Starting the compilation with one of my favorite weapons, the Grand Marshal's Greatsword it can be easily obtained for as little as 5 marks of honor. The NPC selling this greatsword is Lieutenant Jackspring and can be found in the Stormwind City.
Even though I personally like the Alliance sword more than the Horde sword (Great Warlord's Greatsword), he could not pass up this greatsword because it is the only sword that can be compared to the Armagedón in terms of height. This greatsword also has a replica although it cannot be obtained Replica Grand Marshal's Greatsword. This item cannot be traded.
Armagedón
And since I mentioned it in the previous post, Armagedón It is a great two-handed sword that totally breaks the schemes of World of Warcraft. If you transfigure this greatsword, make sure your character is large enough that the size of the weapon becomes extremely gigantic. Seriously, Taurens are the best option. This greatsword can be obtained at 1.7% of the boss gluth and it is in naxxramas. This item cannot be traded.
Sharp Blade of Obsidian
La Sharp Blade of Obsidian It is one of the few weapons that we will see in this article that can be obtained from different sources. To begin with and although it is not detailed in the image, it has some yellow effects that are in the upper part of the handle. The different bosses from which this greatsword can be looted are in the same raid, Magma Core. The bosses in particular are the following: Garr (5%), magmadar (5%), Baron Geddon (2%) and Golemagg the Incinerator (two%). This item cannot be traded.
Also, if we have the bad luck that it has not touched us, we can still keep trying since there is another version with the same model called Sharp Blade of Slashing Obsidian. This can be obtained as loot from Onyxia at 7%. It is the only boss that is inside the Onyxia's Lair, so it won't take us time.
Quel'Delar
Although both weapons have a slightly different name and are almost the same color, it did not seem very fair to add just one of them. Here we have Quel'Delar, ferocity of the scorned y Quel'Delar, might of the faithful respectively. Both can be achieved but, in order to start the chain of missions, we must first farm the object that will start this chain. This item can be obtained at a drop of less than 1% from some bosses of Saron Pit, The Forge of Souls o Reflection Chambers. The object that we must obtain to start the chain is Battered Handle (alliance / Horde). However, you can buy or sell it at the auction house for about 50.000 gold. Good luck!
Cataclysmic Gladiator's Greatsword
Despite being one of my favorite two-handed sword designs, Cataclysmic Gladiator's Greatsword is, like the Great Marisca Greatsword, very easy to get. Can be purchased from as few as 5 Honor Marks from different Cataclysmic Gladiator Quarters found in Tanary, Orc halters o Stormwind. This item cannot be traded.
Two-handed axes
Howler
Starting this part of the article with one of the most mythical weapons in the entire World of Warcraft universe, Howler, whose last owner was Garrosh Hellscream, can be obtained as loot from the last boss, the Prince Malchezaar, from the band Karazhan (the old one of level 70). The percentage is not very clear but I would say that due to the number of times I have gone and the little luck I have had, it will be around 10%. This item cannot be traded.
However, there are two other versions of this sword that can be obtained for loot:
- Warsong Howling Ax: Looks the same as Howler and can be obtained from the last boss, Keli'dan the Breaker, inside of The Blood Furnace al 17%.

Xal'atoh, Desecrated Image of Howl: Although it does not have the same model as the other two mentioned above, it is the Howl that maintains Garrosh Hellscream when corrupted by Sha influence. This item can be obtained at 7% from the last boss of Siege of Orgrimmar.
Primal Gladiator's Decapiter
As with some of the weapons mentioned above, these two swords can be obtained at 5 marks of honor from the quartermasters of their respective factions. The Primal Gladiator's Decapiter (Horde) and the Primal Gladiator's Decapiter (Alliance) can be purchased from vendors Whiplash Blood Guard y Ingrid Ingotenegro respectively. Both mayors are in ashram. This item cannot be traded.
This is an over-level item from the Warlords of Draenor expansion, and for this reason, this ax will not be able to transmogrify until you reach level 90.
Living magma crescent
This two-handed ax called Living magma crescent can be obtained on the band Blackrock Foundry, at 6% drop from the boss The Heart of the Mountain. As has been done on so many other occasions, this two-handed ax can be obtained in several colors on the same band. To obtain them you will only have to modify the difficulty of it. Good luck! Hell Harrowing
As with the previous two-handed ax, the Hell Harrowing It is also obtained by loot at 11% of the boss Fel Lord Zakuun, In the Hellfire Citadel. This item cannot be traded.

Another Sunset
Although you probably look at me and think something like "This? Really? 'I've added it for certain reasons. The first is because the weapon colors are great, and the second is the only lower-level two-handed ax in the entire game that is so pretty. For that reason I wanted to place Another Sunset in last place because, as I said, it is not the best ax in the game but it is the best by level. This two-handed ax is a bit more difficult to come by since you must first obtain a blacksmith recipe that will not allow it to be crafted. In order to get the recipe Design: Sunset, you must have the reputation to be exalted with the Thorium Brotherhood. Locktos Darkbar It will be who will sell us the recipe. You can find it in Blackrock Depths. However, if you don't want to have to farm reputation to later craft this ax, you can find it up for auction for a whopping 35.000 gold. The two-handed greatsword called "Grand Marshal's Greatsword" can be obtained from "Lieutenant Jackspring" in Stormwind City.
