The Battle of Dazar'alor is the second band that we will see in this expansion, Battle for Azeroth, where we will be able to continue the history of both factions and the battle that will take place in the main city of the Zandalari. Will the Alliance end the Horde once and for all or ... will it be the Horde who manages to defend the great city of gold from which its newest allies come?

The Alliance assaults the heart of the Zandalari Empire in Battle of Dazar'alor, a new raid that offers unique encounters for Horde and Alliance players, as well as the opportunity to participate in events from the opposing faction's point of view.

Since time immemorial, Dazar'alor has stood at the center of the vast and powerful Zandalari empire. Its guards have thwarted numerous attempts to kill King Rastakhan, and the structure has survived hardships both in recent times and in the past. However, as war nears the shores of Zuldazar, the Alliance embarks on a daring ploy to lay siege to the golden pyramid and break the Zandalari's link with the Horde.

Tips

-Tanks

  • Coordinate with the other tank to deal with Electroshock blows.
  • Prepare to taunt Mekkatorque when the other tank is under the influence of Gigavolt load or Shrunken.
  • Hide from your allies when Gigavolt load is about to run out.
  • Find and manipulate Sparkbots when under the influence of Shrunken. Wait for instructions from your allies before entering a shutdown code!

Strategy

Although the combat against Mekkatorque is very similar to the heroic mode, we will have some additions in the skills that will increase its difficulty greatly.

The entire band should be practically within the healing area. After each event we will have to return to our positions in order to facilitate our task.

The first skill will be Gigavolt load that, as in heroic mode, will select three random players and several seconds later they will detonate all the players who are in their line of sight, and will also leave behind a zone called Gigavolt radiation zone that if we step on it it will kill us in a few seconds. This zone like the Gigavolt load will deal damage for 30 seconds. The damage will be very high so it will be impossible to heal. We must be very careful not to step on it or we will die irretrievably. We will also have to leave the area taking advantage of the walls and pieces of column.

The next change in this mode will be in the skill Wormhole Generator that in addition to having to leave very quickly, we will suffer an extra damage that will make it select four random players and put an effect on them from the two different ones it has.

These effects can be:

  1. Bewilderment: that will put us polymorph for 12 seconds. This effect will have to be dispelled quickly since it will prevent us from moving and if it is not dispelled in time Mekkatorque will fall on his head and kill him.
  2. Miscalculated teleportation: Lazara the player in the air. We must use an ability that mitigates the fall or we will die.

Whenever i do Wormhole Generator four players will suffer one of these two effects.

Another change will be the Sparkbot that in mythical mode they will get a Shield of sparks It reflects all the direct damage done to them. We will also have approximately 25 minutes to deactivate the Sparkbot.

It would be highly advisable to have two druids in the band so they can alternate with Massive entanglement. It is also highly recommended to have one or two Death Knights to be brought out to the center of the room.

Another change will affect World amplifier since now in addition to making three players small, he will also make one Enormous. If a normal player steps on a small one he will do a huge amount of damage.

Now we must take into account that if the huge player will do the same with the normal one by doing Run over. If the player is also Shrunken will suffer Squeeze and it will do 1 million damage.

In order to solve this, the player who has become huge must stay completely still and the others must separate from him and the little ones must also move to avoid being stepped on. It is highly advisable to establish an area for mediums and another for small ones.

Another thing that we must take into account is the ability Rampaging cannon that in mythical mode it can kill us with a single blow so we must be careful to avoid it.
