Phase 1 - 100% / 20%

  • Caustic slug: Deals 235,200 Nature damage and briefly reduces the chance to hit of all enemies in an area. Damage is split among all enemies within 6 feet of the impact crater. In 10 player mode, you shoot 2 people simultaneously while in 25 mode it is 4 people. To avoid affecting more people, it is necessary to separate about 6 meters from each other.

  • Slaughter: Deals maximum damage to all enemy players.

  • Enmity: Chimaeron cannot perform melee attacks while their heads are fighting each other.

  • Double attack: Chimaeron will hit twice on his next attack.

  • Romper: Chimaeron attacks viciously, breaking his target's defenses. Increases Physical damage taken by 25% and reduces healing done by 15% for 1 minute. Stacks 4 times.

Phase 2

  • Mortality: Chimaeron rages and becomes immune to taunt effects, but increases damage taken by 10%. Additionally, it reduces the healing received by all party members by 99%.

  • Double attack: Chimaeron will hit twice on his next attack.

Strategy

This is a meeting in which the healers will have a special role. It is very stressful due to the very careful cures it requires and how tight we are all doing right now. In itself, the strategy is very simple, the most complicated part being the healing.

As we enter the room, we see that Chimaeron is a sleeping three-headed dragon. He does not wake up unless we hit him (watch out for those self-attacks). Behind Chimaeron is Finkle, a robot that will help us during combat. It is very important to talk to him before to start the fight, because it will spray us with a potion that will prevent us from dying as long as our life is greater than 10,000. This detail is very important In all combat, keep it in mind.

The boss has 2 different phases.

Phase 1 - Up to 20%

The most delicate work in this phase is carried out by the healers. On the one hand, there is the band damage. During the entire phase we will have Chimaeron launching Caustic slug 2 players (4 in 25 player mode). The whole band will be scattered to prevent each of the Slugs from affecting more than one person simultaneously and will be doing damage to the boss from his position. They simply need a cure that raises their lives to over 10.000 to make sure they survive if they get hit by another ball. THERE'S NO NEED UPLOADING THE LIVES OVER 10.000 HEALTH POINTS. By having that amount of life, we make sure that no player dies. What's more, it's a waste of mana that would be better spent healing tanks.

The other band damage is Slaughter, which deals such high raid damage that it instantly reduces everyone's health to 1. Simply raise health to over 10.000 to make sure that the next ability Chimaeron can use doesn't kill anyone. You have to be especially careful with the tanks, to which you will have to raise their life as soon as possible to avoid that Chimaeron can kill them with his melee attacks.

On the other hand, the damage in tanks is high since Chimaeron hits very hard (about 120,000 in 10 player mode), but it is conditioned by the fact that he will never die if he has more than 10,000 health. Therefore, to avoid that when you do Double attack can die, the life of the tank must always be high. To solve the Double Attack problem, we will combine higher heals with defensive abilities of the tanks or external. The two tanks have to exchange the boss every 2 or 3 doses of Romper that not only increases the physical damage they receive but also reduces the healing they perform.

Another possible tactic is for one tank to taunt to receive Double Attack while the other tank maintains it the rest of the time.

Finally, every so often, the Finkle robot will deactivate, and the three heads of Chimaeron will start fighting each other due to Enmity. We have 15 seconds to get all of us together at a preset point as Chimaeron will start to pitch Caustic slug And so we can share the damage that the band receives among all, since we do not have Finkle to save us from death. We will all place ourselves on the same pixel to also help area cures. The dps will have to help if necessary, being able to take advantage of Druid's Tranquility, Priest's Hymn ... to help in the cures. And don't forget to use the priest's pot! The healers will have to raise the tank lives as high as possible and the raid to more than 10.000.

The phase change will occur at 20% of the boss, and you have to make sure that both tanks are at full health at that time, although it is difficult to coordinate it well.

Phase 2

In this phase you cannot heal, so you have to try to get the tanks to their full life to last as long as possible. It is time to squeeze the maximum dps, because as there are no priests, Chimaeron will kill people little by little. It's time to use Heroism / Bloodlust / Time Warp and take advantage of all the abilities that maximize the damage of the entire raid. No one can be healed, so it's a damage run down to that remaining 20%.
