Strengths

  • The paladin is one of the specializations and classes that have the most defensive cds.
  • His healing is very powerful.
  • His mana expenditure is not very high.

Weak points

  • His all healings are single-target.
  • It does not have much mobility.

Talents

In this section of the article I will bring you several ways to confront your enemies and different ways to develop encounters, be it massive targets or just single-target encounters. As always we advise you in all class guides, choose the ones you like the most or come close to your possibilities if a talent doesn't convince you.

  • Level 15: Grant Faith
  • Level 30: Rule of Law
  • Level 45: Fist of Justice
  • Level 60: Sacrificial Aura
  • Level 75: Holy Avenger
  • Level 90: Sanctified Wrath
  • Level 100: Sign of Virtue

holy paladin pvp 8.0.1

lvl 15

  • Might of the Crusader: Crusader Strike reduces the cooldown of Holy Shock and Light of Dawn by 1.5 sec.
  • Grant faith: Infuses a friendly target with faith for 5 sec, healing them for 600% ability power. in the end.
  • Hammer of light: Throws a hammer of Light to the ground, causing an explosion of a 10 yard radius every 2 seconds for 14 seconds. Each explosion deals (103.2% ability power) p. Holy damage to enemies and heals (50% ability power) for damage. to a maximum of 6 allies.

For this first branch of talents, the best of all and the one we recommend is Grant faith since it is the one that gives us much more healing.

Hammer of light it can be a good talent if there are constantly damaging debuffs on allies in combat. However, it can be very useful on battlefields.

Might of the Crusader it can be a good talent if we attack our enemies constantly.

lvl 30

  • Hidalgo: Divine Steed now has 2 charges.
  • Unwavering spirit: Reduces the cooldown of Divine Shield, Divine Protection, and Laying on of Hands by 30%.
  • Rule of law: Increase the range of your heals and Mastery Range: Enlightened 50% for 10 sec.

Rule of law it is the best talent since it is the only one that improves our healing.

Hidalgo it is really useful for the paladin as it lacks mobility.

Unwavering spirit it can be useful in battlefields but not in arenas since they are not usually long enough to make this choice profitable.

lvl 45

  • Fist of justice: Judgment reduces the remaining cooldown of Hammer of Justice by 10 sec.
  • Repentance: Forces an enemy target to meditate, incapacitating them. Can be used against demons, dragons, giants, humanoids, and undead.
  • Blinding light: Emits dazzling light in all directions, blinding enemies within 10 yards and causing them to become disoriented for 6 sec. Non-Holy damage will interrupt the disorientation effect.

In this branch of talents, the choice will be somewhat optional, depending on the meeting obviously. Fist of justice is the option that I would choose in PvP whereas, Blinding light, I would use it for mythicals. However, for the healer his choice can be quite useful, since if he needs to flee from his enemies, this talent gives him a little time. Repentance It may have some utility but… your choice does not end up being profitable.

None of these talents will alter our healing.

lvl 60

  • Aura of devotion: Allies within 10 yards take up to 10% less damage, reduced when more allies enter the aura. While Aura Mastery is active, all affected allies gain 20% damage reduction.
  • Sacrificial Aura: While above 75% health, 10% of all damage taken by allies within 10 yards is redirected towards you and halved. While Aura Mastery is active, 30% of damage is redirected and 75% reduced.
  • Aura of Mercy: Restores (7.5% of ability power) for. health to 3 wounded allies within 10 yards every 2 sec. While Aura Mastery is active, heal all allies in the aura and healing is increased by 100%.

All the talents in this branch are useful, but depending on the situation, some will be more useful than others.

Aura of devotion it is very useful both in battlefields and in arenas.

Sacrificial Aura it's a good talent for maximizing our healing, as long as there aren't large amounts of damage.

Aura of Mercy is the best talent for PvP.

lvl 75

  • Judgment of the Light: Judgment now applies Judgment of Light to the target, causing the next 25 successful attacks against the target to heal for (20% ability power). the attacker.
  • Sacred prism: Launches a beam of light that splits to hit a group of enemies. If it is an enemy target, the beam deals (75% ability power). Holy damage and radiates a healing that heals for (50% ability power). 5 allies within 15 yards. If it's a friendly target, heal for (100% ability power) for damage. and radiates (45% ability power) for Holy damage to 5 enemies within 15 yards.
  • Holy avenger: Increases your haste by 30% and the healing of your Holy Shock by 30% for 20 sec.

Judgment of the Light it is a good talent if we want to attack an enemy.

Holy avenger It is the talent that should be used if our mana remains stable in the encounters. This will provide us with more healing.

Sacred prism It is a talent that is used more in mythic + or, even, in PVP.

lvl 90

  • Sanctified Wrath: Vengeful Wrath lasts 25% longer and also reduces the cooldown of Holy Shock by 50% while it lasts.
  • Vengeful Crusader: You become the ultimate Crusader of Light, increasing the damage of your Crusader Strike, Judgment, and auto attacks by 30%. Crusader Strike and Judgment refresh 30% faster, healing up to 3 injured allies for 250% of the damage they deal. Lasts 20 sec.
  • Awakening: Light of Dawn has a 15% chance to grant Vengeful Wrath for 10 sec.

Vengeful Crusader it's a good talent as long as we can use our time hitting the targets.

Sanctified Wrath It is the best talent for PvP since this way we can extend our burst a bit more.

Awakening It is another viable option if we have at least 5 or more allies in front of us to obtain the benefit on a constant basis. This talent is most useful on Battlegrounds.

lvl 100

  • Divine purpose: Abilities that consume Holy Power have a 20% chance to make your next ability that consumes Holy Power costless.
  • Sign of faith: Marks a second target as a sign and mimics the effects of Beacon of Light. Your heals will now heal on both of your signals, but with effectiveness reduced by 30%.
  • Sign of virtue: Applies a signal of the Light to your target and 3 wounded allies within 30 yards for 8 sec. Your heals will heal all of them for 40% of the amount healed.

Divine purpose is the recommended talent since, without equipment, our healing will depend a lot on our constant mana expenditure.

Sign of faith It should be used in specific mechanics where it is forced to stay in the ranged group while the meeles are separated. Sign of the Enlightened should be used if we find the opportunity to use Morning light in the most efficient way.

Sign of virtue he is the best talent for battlefields or even arenas.

Practical tips

  • Keep Light signal always active on the target, if it can be, the tank.
  • Use Grant faithHoly shock whenever we have them available.
  • Sacred light should be used when our target is taking a small amount of damage.
  • Beam of light should be used when our target is taking a large amount of damage.
  • In case you have to move, have Holy shock on cd and your target is about to die, you can use Light of the martyr to save him.
  • Morning light should be used to cd as long as necessary
  • Sacrificial blessing It should be used on the tank to reduce its damage taken. It is a great talent to ensure the survival of the target.
  • Vengeful Wrath must be used as burst, always at cd.
  • Divine shield makes us invulnerable to everything but will also reduce our damage dealt. This ability should be used as a last resort if we are about to die.
  • Vengeance shield this ability acts as a shield.
  • Laying on of hands will heal the target for 100% of your maximum health.
  • Blessing of freedom will allow the friendly target invulnerability to movement reductions.
  • The paladin has a melee cut called Reprimand.
  • The paladin has a 70% movement reduction that can be used from a distance call Hand of impediment.
