Legendary Cloak Change: One last chance before crossing the portal
As part of the transition from Mists of Pandaria to Warlords of Draenor, we are making several changes to the quest chain for "The Legendary Cloak" before finally closing it when players dive into the new expansion. After the final closure of the mission, this item will no longer be obtainable, making this cloak a legendary symbol of your great deeds in Mists of Pandaria.
With the release of patch 6.0.2 prior to the new expansion, players who are not completing this quest chain will no longer be able to start it. We're also removing the requirement for Proof of Valor as part of the transition to using Valor as currency with this patch.
But when one door closes, another opens. In Warlords of Draenor, players will have the opportunity to obtain a new legendary item: the Band of the Archmage of Khadgar.
The Gaze of the Black Prince: One Last Peek
If you still haven't gotten your Legendary Cloak, you still have one last chance as instead of ending The Gaze of the Black Prince's effect on Tuesday, September 16 (as planned), it will remain active until the release of Patch 6.0.2. prior to the Warlords of Draenor expansion. This effect increases the reputation points earned with the Black Prince by 100% and increases the probability of obtaining the items from his enemies needed to complete the quest chain "The Legendary Cloak": Secrets of the Empire, Sigil of Wisdom, Stealth of power or runestones of the titans.
