Hello guys. In today's article we will discuss the talents for Paladin PvP across all three specs - Retribution, Protection, and Holy - in the Battle for Azeroth beta. Pay attention to all PvP lovers to know what this class has in store for us in the player versus player field.

Talents for Paladin PvP

In Batttle for Azeroth the talent system for PvP has changed. Now we can choose up to four talents and these will be unlocked at different levels. The first will be unlocked at level 20, the second at level 40, the third at level 70 and the fourth and last at level 110.
In the first slot, that is, the one we unlock at level 20, we can choose between three options. These three options will be the same for all Paladin specializations, Protection, Retribution, and Holy.
From there, we will choose the rest from a variety of talents that will be different for each of the Paladin's specializations.
In order to access the talents when we are in the world we will have to have the War Mode activated. To be able to switch between the different talents we will have to be in a city.
Remind you that we are in the beta version of the game because what may be some change. If this happens, we will keep you informed promptly.

PvP talents common to all specs

As I told you before, the first slot is unlocked at level 20 and we can choose between three talents that will be common to the three Paladin's specializations. These talents are:

  • Adapting: Replaces Honorable Medallion. Remove any loss of control effects that last 5s or longer. This effect can only occur once every 1 minute.
  • Tireless: Replaces Honorable Medallion. Duration of crowd control effects on you reduced by 20%. It does not stack with similar effects.
  • Gladiator's Medallion: Replaces Honorable Medallion. removes all movement impairing effects and all effects that cause your character to lose control in PvP combat. Cooldown 2 minutes.

PvP Talents Retribution Paladin

These talents are intended for us to use with our Paladin in his Retribution specialization. You can use them in the second (level 40), third (level 70) and fourth slot (level 110) as they are unlocked and will be the following:

  • Luminescence (Luminescence): Whenever you are healed by an ally, all nearby allies within 20 yards will also receive 20% of the total healing. Passive.
  • Limitless freedom (Unlimited Freedom): Blessing of Freedom also increases movement speed by 30%. Passive.
  • Sacred ritual (Holy Ritual): Allies receive x healing points when they cast a blessing spell on them and reheal x points when the sensation ends.
  • Vengeance aura (Aura of Vengeance): When you or allies within 4 yards of your Greater Blessings are subjected to a total loss of control effect, your Holy damage and critical strike chance are increased by 4% for 10 seconds. Stacks up to four times. Passive.
  • Sanctuary blessing (Blessing of Sanctuary): Instantly removes all stun, silence, fear, and horror effects from the friendly target, and reduces the duration of those effects in the future by 60% for 5 seconds. Range of 40 meters. Instant. Cooldown: 45 seconds.
  • Seraph's blessing (Seraph's Blessing): When you or your nearby allies within 40 yards drops below 40%, your next Flash of Light cast within 5 seconds is instantaneous and heals for 50% more. This effect can only happen once every 15 seconds. Passive.
  • Justice (Lawbringer): Judgment now applies Lawbringer for 45 seconds to the first targets hit. Casting Judgment causes all enemies under the effect of Justice to take Holy damage equal to no more than 5% of their maximum health. Passive.
  • Divine punisher (Divine Punisher): Casting two consecutive Judgment on the same enemy generates 3 points of Holy Power. Passive.
  • Judgment hammer (Hammer of Judgment): When you or your allies with greater blessings take damage, you gain judgment. Consumes 50 stacks of judgment to launch a magic hammer that strikes an enemy for x Holy damage. Then, you get Crusade for 12 seconds. 30 meter range. Instant. Cooldown: 48 seconds.
  • Jurisdiction (Jurisdiction): Increase the range of your Hammer of Justice by 10 minutes. Passive.
  • Law (Law & Order): When your Hand of Impairment is dispelled or otherwise removed early, its cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds. Your blade of justice applies Hand of Impairment to the target for 3 seconds. Passive.
  • Purging light (Purging Light): Purges allies within 15 yards, removing all poison and disease effects. Replaces Cleanse Toxins. 520 mana points. Instant. Cooldown: 4 seconds.

Protection Paladin PvP Talents

These talents are intended for us to use with our Paladin in his Protection specialization. You can use them in the second (level 40), third (level 70) and fourth slot (level 110) as they are unlocked and will be the following:

  • Holy ground (Holy Ground): Your Consecration nullifies and removes all snare effects from allies in its area of ​​effect. Passive.
  • Steed of glory (Steed of Glory): Your Divine Steed lasts an additional 2 seconds. While active you become immune to movement impairment effects and knock back enemies you move between. Passive.
  • Sacred duty (Holy Duty): Reduces the cooldown of your Blessing of Protection and your Blessing of Sacrifice by 33%. Passive.
  • Judgment of the cigar (Judgment of the Cigar): When Judgment is cast on an enemy, a nearby ally within 40 yards is healed for x points. Passive.
  • Guardian of the Forgotten Queen (Guardian of the Forgotten Queen): Empowers the friendly target with the Spirit of the Forgotten Queen, causing the target to be immune to all damage for 10 seconds. Replaces Guardian of Ancient Kings. Range of 40 meters. Instant. Cooldown: 3 minutes.
  • Guarded by the light (Guarded by Light): Your Flash of Light reduces all damage the target takes by 10% for 6 seconds. Stacks up to two times. Passive.
  • Inquisition (Inquisition): Intimidates the target, increasing their damage taken by 3% for 6 seconds. Each player who attacks the target increases their damage taken by an additional 3%. Stacks up to five times. Your melee attacks reset the duration of Intimidated. Replaces Hand of Judgment. 10 meter range. Instant. Cooldown: 20 seconds.
  • Warrior of the light (Warrior of Light): Increases the damage done by your Shield of the Righteous by 30%, but reduces the armor it grants by 30%. Passive.
  • Shield of virtue (Shield of Virtue): When activated, your next Avenger's Shield interrupts and silences all enemies within 8 yards of the target. Instant. Cooldown: 45 seconds.
  • Purging light (Purging Light): Purges allies within 15 yards, removing all poison and disease effects. Replaces Cleanse Toxins. 520 mana points. Instant. Cooldown: 4 seconds.

These talents are intended for us to use with our Paladin in his Holy Specialization. You can use them in the second (level 40), third (level 70) and fourth slot (level 110) as they are unlocked and will be the following:

  • Pure of heart (Pure of Heart): Whenever you or your allies within 20 yards receive healing from any source, 1 poison and disease effects affecting them will be removed. Passive.
  • Avenging light (Avenging Light): When you heal with Holy Light, all enemies within 10 yards of the target take Holy damage equal to 30% of the total healed. Passive.
  • Ultimate sacrifice (Ultimate Sacrifice): Your Blessing of Sacrifice now transfers 100% of all damage it deals to you to a damage over time effect, but no longer cancels when your health is below 20%. Passive.
  • Pre-dawn darkness (Pre-Dawn Darkness): Every 5 seconds the healing done by your next Dawn Light is increased by 10%. Stacks up to ten times. This effect does not occur while Light of Dawn is on cooldown. Passive.
  • Spread the word (Spread the Word): Your allies affected by your aura receive an effect after you cast Blessing of Protection or Blessing of Freedom. Passive.
    • Blessing of Protection: Physical damage reduced by 30% for 6 seconds.
    • Blessing of Freedom: Dispels all movement impairment effects. Passive.
  • Blessed souls (blessed souls): All your blessing spells now have 1 extra charge. Passive.
  • Divine vision (Divine Vision): Increase the range of your aura by 30 meters. Passive.
  • Purification of the weak (Purification of the Weak): When you dispel an ally within your aura, you dispel the same effect on all allies within your aura. Passive.
  • Divine favor (Divine Favor): Your next Holy Light or Flash of Light is increased by 100%, costs no mana, and cannot be interrupted. Instant. Cooldown: 45 seconds.
  • Grace of light (Light's Grace): Increases the healing done by your Holy Light by 50%, also reducing all damage the target takes by 5% for 8 seconds. Stacks up to three times. Passive.
  • Holy ground (Holy Ground): Your Consecration nullifies and removes all snare effects from allies in its area of ​​effect. Passive.
