Hello again guys. Continuing with the articles dedicated to player versus player, today we will talk about the PvP talents for Death Knight in his three specializations: Blood, Frost and Unholy, in the beta of Battle for Azeroth. Attentive all PvP lovers to know what this class has in store for us.

PvP Talents for Death Knight

In Batttle for Azeroth the talent system for PvP has changed. Now we can choose up to four talents and these will be unlocked at different levels. As the Death Knight we created it at level 55, the talents were unlocked at level 60 the first slot, level 65 the second, level 95 the third and level 110 the fourth.
In the first slot, that is, the one that we unlock at level 60, we can choose between three options. These three options will be the same for all Death Knight specs, Blood, Frost, and Unholy.
From there, the remainder will be chosen from a variety of talents that will be different for each of the Death Knight specializations.
In order to access the talents when we are in the world we will have to have the War Mode activated. To be able to switch between the different talents we will have to be in a city.
Remind you that we are in the beta version of the game because what may be some change. If this happens, we will keep you informed promptly.

PvP talents common to all specs

As I said before, the first slot is unlocked at level 60 and we can choose between three talents that will be common to the three specializations of the Death Knight. These talents are:

  • Adapting: Replaces Honorable Medallion. Remove any loss of control effects that last 5s or longer. This effect can only occur once every 1 minute.
  • Tireless: Replaces Honorable Medallion. Duration of crowd control effects on you reduced by 20%. It does not stack with similar effects.
  • Gladiator's Medallion: Replaces Honorable Medallion. removes all movement impairing effects and all effects that cause your character to lose control in PvP combat. Cooldown 2 minutes.

PvP Talents Death Knight Blood

These talents are intended for us to use with our Death Knight in his Blood specialization. You can use them in the second (level 65), third (level 95) and fourth slot (level 110) as they are unlocked and will be the following:

  • Profane order (Unholy Order): Your deadly attraction has two charges. passive
  • Walk from the dead (Walk of the Dead): Your Deadly Pull causes the target to move no faster than normal movement speed for 8 seconds. Passive.
  • Strangle (Strangle): Shadowy tentacles constrict an enemy's throat, silencing them for 5 seconds. 30 meter range. Instant. Cooldown: 1 minute.
  • Blood for blood (Blood for Blood): Sacrifice 15% of your total health to increase the damage done by your Heart Strike by 60% for 12 seconds. Instant.
  • Last Dance (Last Dance): Reduces the cooldown of your Dancing Rune Aura by 50%. Passive.
  • Death chain (Chain of Death): Chain three enemies, dealing x Shadow damage and causing 20% ​​of all damage taken to also be taken by the rest of the chained. Lasts 10 seconds. 10 meter range. Instant. Cooldown: 30 seconds.
  • Murderous purpose (Murderous Purpose): Intimidates the target, increasing their damage taken by 3% for 6 seconds. Each player who attacks the target increases their damage taken by an additional 3%. Stacks up to five times. Your melee attacks reset the duration of Intimidated. Replaces dark order. 10 meter range. Instant. Cooldown: 20 seconds.
  • Anti-magic zone (Anti-Magic Zone): Places an anti-magic zone for 10 seconds that reduces spell damage taken by party or raid members by 60%. 30 meter range. Instant. Cooldown: 2 minutes.
  • Necrotic aura (Necrotic Aura): All enemies within 12 yards take 8% increased magic damage. Passive.
  • Heart attack aura (Heart Attack Aura): Reduces the cooldown recovery rate of all enemies within 20 yards of abilities by 8%.
  • Aura of decomposition (Decay Aura): All enemies within 10 yards slowly decay, losing up to 3% of their maximum health every 2 seconds. Stacks up to five times. Lasts 6 seconds. Passive.
  • Dark simulation (Dark Simulation): Places a Dark Ward on an enemy player that lasts 12 seconds. Triggers the next time the enemy spends mana on a spell, allowing the Death Knight to unleash an exact replica of that spell. 20 points of Runic Power. Instant. Range of 40 meters. Cooldown: 25 seconds.

PvP Talents Death Knight Frost

These talents are intended for us to use with our Death Knight in his Frost specialization. You can use them in the second (level 65), third (level 95) and fourth slot (level 110) as they are unlocked and will be the following:

  • Necrotic aura (Necrotic Aura): All enemies within 12 yards take 8% increased magic damage. Passive.
  • Aura of decomposition (Decay Aura): All enemies within 10 yards slowly decay, losing up to 3% of their maximum health every 2 seconds. Stacks up to five times. Lasts 6 seconds. Passive.
  • Cold deadly (Deadly Chill): Your Deadly Attraction automatically applies Chains of Ice at no cost. When you cast Chains of Ice at a target that is already taking its effect, you Freeze and Root it for 4 seconds. Passive.
  • Delirium (Delirium): Your Howling Blast and Frost Strike apply Delirium to the target.
    • Delirium: A disease that hinders the target's movement, reducing the cooldown recovery rate of movement-enhancing abilities by 25%. Stacks up to two times. Lasts 2 seconds. Passive.
  • Tundra stalker (Tundra Stalker): The critical strike chance of your Frost Strike is increased by 50% for 6 seconds after Frost Strike hits an immobilized target. Passive.
  • Ice cream center (Frozen Center): Your Remorseless Winter also freezes all targets within 10 meters, rooting them for 4 seconds when cast. Passive.
  • Overwhelming Rune Weapon (Overwhelming Rune Weapon): Reduces the cooldown and duration of Empower Rune Weapon by 50%. Passive.
  • Icy streak (Freezing Streak): Deals damage equal to a maximum of 3% of the target's total health as Frost damage and reduces their movement speed by 70% for 4 seconds. Freezing Streak bounces a maximum of nine times between the closest targets. Range of 40 meters. Instant. Cooldown: 45 seconds.
  • Anti-magic zone (Anti-Magic Zone): Places an anti-magic zone for 10 seconds that reduces spell damage taken by party or raid members by 60%. 30 meter range. Instant. Cooldown: 2 minutes.
  • Heart attack aura (Heart Attack Aura): Reduces the cooldown recovery rate of all enemies within 20 yards of abilities by 8%.
  • Dark simulation (Dark Simulation): Places a Dark Ward on an enemy player that lasts 12 seconds. PvP Talents Unholy Death Knight

These talents are intended for us to use with our Death Knight in his Unholy specialization. You can use them in the second (level 65), third (level 95) and fourth slot (level 110) as they are unlocked and will be the following:

  • Wandering plague (Wandering Plague): Outbreak also infects the target with Wandering Plague, dealing x Shadow damage over 8 seconds. When the duration of Wandering Plague expires or is dispelled, jump to a nearby enemy within 30 yards that is afflicted with one of your diseases. Lasts three jumps. You can only have one Roaming Plague active at a time.
  • Pandemic (Pandemic): When you use Outbreak, all enemies within 25 meters affected by your diseases take x points of Shadow damage and the duration of the diseases that has applied them is reset. Passive.
  • Crypt fever (Crypt Fever): Enemies who are healed while affected by your Festering Wound have a chance to take x points of Shadow damage. Passive.
  • Dark simulation (Dark Simulation): Places a Dark Ward on an enemy player that lasts 12 seconds. Triggers the next time the enemy spends mana on a spell, allowing the Death Knight to unleash an exact replica of that spell. 20 points of Runic Power. Instant. Range of 40 meters. Cooldown: 25 seconds.

  • Necrotic Strike (Necrotic Strike): A vicious strike that deals x points of Plague damage and turns a festering wound into a necrotic wound, absorbing the next x healing points received by the target. 1 rune. Melee range. Instant.
  • Profane mutation (Unholy Mutation): Your Virulent Plague now deals 400% of normal eruption damage when dispelled or depleted. Targets hit by this eruption have their movement speed reduced by 50% for 6 seconds. Passive.
  • Revival (Reanimation): Revives a nearby corpse, summoning a zombie with 5 health points for 20 seconds to slowly advance towards your target. If it hits your target, it explodes and stuns all enemies within 5 meters for 3 seconds, dealing 10% of enemies' health as Shadow damage. 1 rune. Instant. Range of 40 meters.
  • Cadaverous paleness (Cadaverous Paleness): When you hit a magic spell, you have a 20% chance that it will be completely absorbed and transformed into a disease that deals Nature damage over time. Passive.
  • Necrotic aura (Necrotic Aura): All enemies within 12 yards take 8% increased magic damage. Passive.
  • Aura of decomposition (Decay Aura): All enemies within 10 yards slowly decay, losing up to 3% of their maximum health every 2 seconds. Stacks up to five times. Lasts 6 seconds. Passive.
  • Macabre monstrosity (Ghoulish Monstrosity): Ghouls summoned by Army of the Dead crowd together to form a single ghoulish monstrosity. Reduces the cooldown of Army of the Dead by 4 minutes. Passive.
