Summary Warlords of Draenor What awaits us in Tanaan?

Tanan

Before we start speculating, let's do a little review of what we've been through since we arrived in Draenor. If you haven't paid much attention to the story or are just back in the game, with this brief summary I hope you have a good general idea.

Why are we here?

Well, the main reason we set our sights on Draenor was to pursue Garrosh. Recall that after catching him and, while his trial was taking place in Pandaria, Garrosh managed to escape with the help of Kairozdormu and entered Draenor. Garrosh's intention was to change the past and create or belong to a Horde like the one he wanted, the old Horde. In this way he was in charge of transferring his knowledge of technology and military weaponry to Grommash, thus quenching his lust for power and preventing the corruption of the orcs with the blood of Manoroth.

Here comes the second reason and the one that finally makes us pass through the Dark portal, the formation of the Iron Horde.

Dark Portal Event

The Iron Horde poses a great danger to Azeroth if they manage to cross the portal, so all the Heroes of Azeroth are called upon to prevent it and of course, we come swift and swift.

Archmage KhadgarHero of the Second War, he is rallying the strongest of Azeroth to bravely break through the Dark Portal and prevent the Iron Horde from invading Azeroth.

After passing through the Portal with our faction leaders, we are aware for the first time of the might of the Iron Horde. We must prevent them from reaching Azeroth but, we are so few, it is impossible that we can with them in a confrontation. What can we do?…

Yes, indeed, destroy the Portal, although it means being locked in Draenor in an alternate timeline and worst of all ... free Gul'dan. The Iron horde had him imprisoned and used him to keep the portal open, but here we come and hey! We set it free.

After our escape from the Tanaan Jungle, from which we narrowly emerged alive, our paths are divided as we have two open fronts.

Khadgar will be the one in charge of finding and catching Gul'dan again., with our help of course, thus initiating the missions of the Legendary ring.

Our faction representatives will be the ones to accompany us in the fight against the Iron Horde. With Thrall and Durotan by the Horde and, Maarad and the recently rescued Yrel by the Alliance.

Horde players begin their adventure in Frostfire Ridge, where as soon as they arrive they will take part in a fierce fight against the Thunder Lord clan, which the Frostwolf Clan is fighting. After several comings and goings with the clan, they prepare to receive the attack of the Iron Horde.  As Drek'thar summons the elements to block the path of the Iron Horde, advancing through a narrow gorge, Ga'nar sacrifices himself, buying enough time for Drek'thar to succeed. Here we witness the first loss by the Horde.

Alliance players begin their adventure in the Valley shadowmoon, where they will meet the situation of the draenei people, which are being attacked and kidnapped by the Shadowmoon clan, led by Ner'zhul.

The situation in Shadowmoon Valley is somewhat complex. Ner'zhul has been summoned by Grommash to join the Iron Horde and threatened with death if he does not prove himself. For this reason he is trying to acquire the power of the dark star to end the entire Shadowmoon Valley and the existence of the Draenei.

As we chase Ner'zhul, we have the opportunity to get to know the character of Yrel better, we will end up loving and respecting this vindicator Draenei. We finally discover Ner'zhul's intentions and it is Prophet Velen who sacrifices himself for the Alliance to prevent the destruction of the Temple of Karabor and the rest of Shadowmoon Valley.

Once the problems in our starting maps have been solved, the players of both factions follow the same path, uncover the plans of the Blackrock Clan. After some confrontations with the clan, we directed our steps towards Feller in order to save the city of Shattrath, which is being besieged by the Iron Horde.

At this point we live one of the cinematics that have impacted me the most personally and we see how the Horde and the Alliance are becoming more and more aware that this war can only be won together. On the other hand, it is a very sad moment since in the port of Shattrath we lose one of the greats, Maraad. Blackhand narrowly escapes and we continue our adventure in the Summits of Arak, helping the Banished Arakkoa to face the Adepts of Rukhmar. Once we gained the trust of the Arakkoa, we marched to Nagrand in search of Garrosh.

On the Nagrand map we again have some confrontation with the Iron Horde before reaching Garrosh, which is entrenched in the fortress of Grommashar.

At this moment Blizzard offers us the final cinematic, in which Thrall and Garrosh face off in a mak'gora, resulting in Garrosh's death.

At the end of this cinematic we can observe a meeting between our faction leaders, deciding what will be our next step in the fight against the Iron Horde. It is they who decide to take us to Highmaul to destroy the Ogres, recent allies of the Iron Horde and later to Blackrock Foundry.

Regarding the missions of the Legendary ring, we already commented on another article In detail each one of them but, the situation is that we get to find out where Gul'dan is… what do we have left?… Exactly, finish him off.

The Tanaan Jungle, speculation.

If we analyze the situation so farIt is not that there has been so much contact with the Iron Horde. Let's just say we expected a little more warmongering on their part, right? Well, it will be in the Tanaan jungle where we will truly see the cold and hard war.

We will begin our adventure accompanied as always by our faction representativeWe will have to go through the Jungle in search of our explorers to be able to know how the situation is. We will find a Tanaan Jungle that will remind us a lot of the Hellfire Peninsula of Outland, not because of its clear flora, but because of the dangers that inhabit it.

All clues point towards Hellfire Citadel, which has been corrupted by Gul'dan's fel energy. We know that among the Heads of the gang we will find followers of the Burning Legion and even Archimonde himself.

So far what we know at the moment but, What will finally happen to Gul'dan? If we follow the logic of how events are happening in this timeline, we should kill Kilrogg, the last living Clan Lord and from there, we return to the great dilemma ... Gul'dan or Grommash ...

While we wait for the arrival of the next patch, we can only speculate. After the little information we have had access to from the PTR, my bet as the final boss of the expansion is still Grommash. And yours? I think things will work out little by little. After finishing Kilrogg, we will go in search of Gul'dan and with the help of Khadgar, we will finish with the last obstacle before facing Grommash.
