[Lore] Icecrown Citadel, Frostmourne (Part III)
Frostmourne, better known by its original English name as Frostmourne is a leaf that Ner'zhul, the Lich King, extracted from his Frozen Throne, intending for Arthas Menethil - his potential host - to discover it on the continent of Northrend. Currently carried by the new Lich King
History: Muradin Bronzebeard (brother of King Magni and Brann Bronzebeard), a dwarf expeditionary last seen in Northrend, was searching for the weapon after learning of the tremendous power of Frostmourne, just as Arthas and his men arrived. When the forces of the Dreadlord Mal'Ganis (sent by Archimonde as the Lich King's guardian and conspirator who influenced Arthas to destroy Stratholme) began to corner them, Arthas and Muradin marched to claim the weapon.
Deep within a cave (later called the Frostmourne Cavern by the Scarlet Onslaught), was kept by The Guardian (little information is known, except that they kept the sword in this cave and were in charge of preventing anyone who tried to possess it, to the point of fighting to avoid it, supposedly it is a type of elemental manifestation) and their other guardians, who tried to warn Arthas of the danger that said said sword represented, but he destroyed them without any regard. When they found the sword, Muradin read the inscription on his dais:
Whoever takes this blade will wield eternal power. Just as the blade tears the flesh, so the power will mark the spirit.

[Lore] Icecrown Citadel, The Frozen Throne (Part II)
[Lore] Icecrown Citadel, the story (Part I)
La Icecrown Citadel Northrend sits on the largest glacier in Azeroth, the Icecrown Glacier in Icecrown itself. It is here that Ner'zhul (former head of the Horde on Draenor, servant of the Burning Legion, and eventually transformed by Kil'jaeden into the original Lich King) was deposited on the world of Azeroth. Recently, the Scourge created an enormous fortress, surrounding the Frozen Throne, which is hidden in its depths. It is scheduled to be added to the game in patch 3.3, this being the culmination of the Wrath of the Lich raid instances.
- Location: Icecrown, Northrend
- Location: Unknown, maybe 250.000 (100% Undead)
- Government: Autocracy
- Race (s): The plague
- Level: Level 80 Players
- Player Limit: 5-25
History: Icecrown's name became infamous when Kil'jaeden (Overlord of the Burning Legion in the absence of Sargeras) threw the Lich King back into the mortal world. Ner'zhul's prison crashed deep into the glacier. Here the Lich King remained until the arrival of Arthas Menethil who freed him and both emerged as one in Arthas's body. The union created a great explosion that destroyed a good part of the glacier. This left a giant throne in the place where the Frozen Throne was later created. Where the Lich King sits, master of the Scourge.

Lore: Sindragosa
Long before the Great Cataclysm, which divided the face of Azeroth into the continents (Kalimdor and The Eastern Kingdoms) and Islands (Northrend and Kezan) that we know today, the 5 aspects of flight (black, red, green, blue, and bronze) ) they were tasked with a commendable task: Guarding the young world of Azeroth.
Sindragosa at that time, was the beloved Consort of the Aspect of the Blue Flight Malygos also known as the Spell Weaver, guardian of Arcane magic.
Aided by some goblins, Neltharion (also known as To the death) created a powerful artifact called the Dragon Soul. With tricks, he convinced his brothers to empower the disk by assuring them that with this power he could stop the invasion of the Burning Crusade.
However, Neltharion betrayed his brothers during the Legion's assault, sparking a massive battle in the skies over the Well of Eternity. Malygos and Sindragosa joined their companions from the blue flight to defeat Neltharion, the Protector of Earth. They charged the mighty black dragon but it harnessed the power of the Dragon Soul to defend itself, killing almost all the Blue Dragons.

In ancient times, the great Aspects of the Dragons, with the help of the night elves, forged powerful prismatic swords that would serve to end any type of evil that arose in the world and would become known as the blades of Quel'Serrar. One of these, believed to have been lost in time, was recovered by the brave heroes of Azeroth. At the moment, Quel'Serrar it is again a formidable tool of great power.

Hello everyone, I do not know if you will know me, I am Eneia and I used to post comics in the forum of wow.europe occasionally. Well, instead of leaving it, now you are going to have to put up with me every week .
But hey, I will try that they are not a rock at all and that it differs from the rest of the comics that swarm out there, adding a bit of absurd humor.
The previous ones were called "Eneia has spark" but as we all have to evolve, this new batch is titled "lol of warcraft»(Let's pray that the name is not caught already)
Before leaving you with the comic, I would like to thank the forum for wow.europe for putting up with all those posts (I don't remember how many there are). Now it could be said that I have become emancipated.
As I have never liked tochopost, and I personally have stopped reading for a long time, I say goodbye here and I leave you with the comic:

The shaman is not an area healer
I've been wanting to write this opinion piece for a long time but, for one thing or another, I haven't been able to do it yet… until today.
Few of you know it and in Who we are, it only appears that I play with my magician but it is not like that.
It's been a long time since I've been playing more with a Shaman who, from level 1, was predestined to be Healer. I honestly love the Shaman's game almost as much or more than the Magician's.
Not long ago, while doing one of the daily heroics, another shaman (Elemental) accompanied us and, after the first boss, he whispered to me, commenting that the Chain healing it would be more effective. Kindly, I replied that this was not so.

Origine 2 Trailer by César
Today, at noon, we received an email from César that more or less says like this (it has been translated because it came in translated Spanish):
Hello! I am Cesar, a French filmmaker.
I am proud to present you the final trailer for my latest movie: Origine Episode 2: On the Discovery of Lands.
This movie is produced by GameTV-fr.com and Warcraftmovies.com. You can find the English version of this trailer on Warcraftmovies.com. Here is the YouTube video in case you want to integrate it into your website.
Hope the trailer is of interest, so that you can talk about it in your news.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Before publishing it, we have taken a look at it and we found it quite original since it shows things that are not currently in the game. The video is in French with English subtitles that are quite well understood. The film is scheduled to appear in December and, if you are interested, you can stop by the Author's official website.
The video is in HD, it may take a while to load but I think it's worth it.

10 ideas for a Heroic Death Mines
Mines of Death is one of those iconic dungeons that, at least for the Alliance, has a special aftertaste. It is the first dungeon that I personally visited and I was in awe and perhaps it was one of the things that irretrievably got me hooked on this game.
Going into a cavern and seeing a ship after all is simply epic for someone who is just starting to play.
Lots of gamers jokingly created a move that asked Blizzard for some Heroic Deathmines and during BlizzCon 09 with the announcement of Cataclysm, they surprised us with the announcement of Heroic Mines of Death and Darkfang Castle.
Asked for Twitter which was the favorite and all of you have answered me that without a doubt Minas de la Muerte (for me, too). In this article I intend to capture 10 things that would make Mines of Heroic Death. It does not imply that any of this is real, they are just ideas and that they would adapt the dungeon to Blizzard's current combat design.
Explaining Chaos Theory: Anomalus
It is well known by all (and if not, the vast majority) that Blizzard draws a lot from the contexts o gag's of the WoW world in curiosities external to the game, such as other Blizzard games such as Diablo or Starcraft, the world of TV or cinema, music, etc. Well, today we will talk about Chaos theory, achievement, mathematical and physical theory that I will explain below:
The achievement:
The achievement consists of, defeat anomaly en The nexus (heroic) without destroying any leak. A very complicated achievement for those who are not very familiar with the theory behind this achievement, or for those with little equipment; D
Chaos theory:
Chaos theory is a well-known concept in mathematics and physics where it deals with certain types of behaviors, of course, unpredictable dynamical systems.
Un dynamic system It is a complex system that presents a change or evolution of its state over time. The behavior in said state can be characterized by determining the limits of the system, the elements and their relationships. In this way, models can be developed that seek to represent the structure of the same system. Dynamic systems can be basically classified into:
- Stable: tends over time to a point, or orbit, according to its dimension (attractor)
- Unstable: which escapes from attractors.
- Chaotic: manifests the two previous behaviors. On the one hand, there is an attractor by which the system is attracted, but at the same time, there are "forces" that push it away from it. In this way, the system remains confined to an area of its state space, but without tending towards a fixed attractor.
Note: Un attractor it is the set to which the system evolves after a long enough time. For the set to be an attractor, the trajectories that are sufficiently close to it must remain close even if they are slightly disturbed. Geometrically, an attractor can be a point, a curve, a manifold, or even a complicated set of fractal structure known as a strange attractor. The description of attractors of chaotic dynamical systems has been one of the great achievements of chaos theory.
The trajectory of the dynamical system in the attractor does not have to satisfy any special property except that of staying in the attractor; it can be periodic, chaotic, or of any other kind.
One of the greatest characteristics of an unstable system is that it has a great dependence on the initial conditions. From a system whose characteristic equations are known, and with fixed initial conditions, its evolution over time can be known exactly. But in the case of chaotic systems, a slight difference in those conditions makes the system evolve in a totally different way. Examples of such systems include the Earth's atmosphere, the Solar System, plate tectonics, turbulent fluids, and population growth.
In order to classify the behavior of a system as chaotic, the system must have the following properties:
- It must be sensitive to initial conditions.
- It must be transitive.
- Their periodic orbits must form a dense set in a compact region of physical space.
Sensitivity to initial conditions means that two points in such a system can move on very different trajectories in their phase space even if the difference in their initial configurations is very small.
For the uninitiated in mathematics, the name "Chaos Theory" can be misleading for two reasons:
- It is not necessarily a theory but can be understood as a large open field of research, encompassing different lines of thought.
- Chaos it is understood not as an absence of order, but as a certain type of order of unpredictable characteristics, but describable in a concrete and precise way. That is to say: an unpredictable type of order of movement.
Applying the theory to achievement:
Chaos theory tells us that it is about the different types of dynamic behaviors, that is, Stable, Unstable and finally Chaotic, whose evolution depends on the time that passes from when we start the Stable system, until the Chaotic system. In achievement, it is almost inevitable to reach Chaotic behavior during combat, and this is where the whole theory is reflected, which tells us:
Chaotic: manifests the two previous behaviors. On the one hand, there is an attractor by which the system is attracted (in our case, the tank), but at the same time, there are "forces" that keep him away from it.. In that way, the system remains confined to an area of its state space, but without tending to a fixed attractor.
In practice, for all of us to understand, it is that, as I explained before, the tank acts as an attractor, that is, a point where all the faults will center their chaotic damage. The longer the time that elapses from the Steady state, the greater the final chaos. In short, the longer it takes you to kill them, the greater the probability of failing the achievement, due to certain death.

The Worgens, also known as FerocanisThey are quite large, human but with the appearance of a wolf and capable of walking upright, but when running they do so with all four legs and at great speed.

These evil creatures enjoy being tortured and devouring intelligent creatures. They love to hear the screams of their victims as they tear their skin piece by piece. The Worgens never have regrets. They may seem wild, but also they are incredibly smart and they have a cruel cunning that can take you by surprise if you are not prepared.

The Pandaren
The enigmatics Pandaren They are one of the most elusive races on Azeroth. Pandaren come from the Pandaren Empire of Pandaria. They are humanoid pandas with a great love for nature and… beer.
The Pandaren are originally from the center of Kalimdor where they established the Pandaren empire. They were allies of the night elves until they saw how their obsession with magic it was out of control. The clans left Kalimdor, turning away from obsessive magic, and made a new home on an island they named Pandaria. After the Cataclysm, some Pandaren returned to the new Kalimdor to explore it. Once a mighty empire, the Pandaren settle for a safe and peaceful home. With the end of the Third War, the Pandaren have been encouraged to visit Kalimdor.
They are a breed of humanoid panda bears. The amiable appearance of these noble creatures should not be underestimated. They may be cute but they are not harmless. Pandaren have a long tradition of the art of war and are incredibly strong and agile. His traditional fighting style focuses on mobility, speed and precision, as well as forceful jumps and acrobatic movements. Many Pandaren only need the skill of their hands to fight an enemy.
Only the Pandaren know the ins and outs of their society but alcohol is known to be part of their culture. These creatures are excellent connoisseurs of beer and the strongest beverages, a relationship they have with the Ironforge Dwarves. There is a caste of nomadic warriors known as Master Brewers and they are highly respected in their culture.

Analysis of the new 5-person dungeon in the making
A few days ago, Zarhym, in the American forums published a post about a new dungeon in the making of 5 people similar to the one in patch 2.4 (Magister's Terrace). The similar thing is in terms of the similarity of the moment of its launch and we suppose that also in terms of difficulty. Plus also we echoed of a new Alterac Valley style battlefield.
Here's the blue one so you can keep an eye on it:
New 5-player content is in development for future patches, including what can probably be compared to Magister's Terrace. We will give more information when we can show you part of this content.

Is Val'Anyr up to the task?
Not many days ago, the news came out on the usual American sites (MMO, Wowraid, etc) that the features of Val'anyr had been revealed. Soon the Spanish community echoed (¡we also!) so that most of you have surely seen the characteristics of the legendary mace. However, if you haven't seen it yet, and you're so lazy that you skip opening the previous link, here are Val'anyr's stats
+52 Stamina
+54 Intellect
Equip: Improve your critical strike rating by 47
Eguipar: Improve your haste rating by 46
Equip: Improve your spell power by 587
Equip: Your healing spells have a chance to inflict Blessing of Ancient Kings for 15 seconds, allowing your heals to generate a shield on the target, absorbing damage equal to 15% of the amount healed.
After seeing that, my first thought is: «for a healer mace it lacks some mana regen (mp5)»Then I take another look at the statistics and say«improves haste and critical a bit more and they miss a requirement only for paladins«.
A day or so, I was reviewing the objects that fell on the different bosses and I noticed this mace, Guide Star of Tajoescale that does not have such an abysmal difference either, between 6 and 8 points for the statistics and about 40 points of difference in spell power. Sure, we are not counting the effect but I sincerely hoped for something more. Then I began to try to gather some information about the Lore of this mace and it was impossible and the ancient legendary objects had an important presence in the lore.
Recently Ghostcrawler commented that the effect is better than we think and that this mace is good included for the druids. However, to this day, it leaves a strange taste in my mouth. I'm going to try to do a review of the ancient legendary objects.
Stories with History: The Curse of Corrupt Blood
A couple of weeks ago, in this section, we reviewed the history of Leeroy Jenkins.
Today I want to tell you about an epidemic curse that ravaged the lands of the continent of Azeroth early in the game.
The Corrupted Blood was the first of the serious diseases to ravage the cities of World of Warcraft. Until recently, with the plague event, we haven't been able to see anything like it.
The epidemic began on September 15 back in 2005 on the American server Silvermoon. Two days earlier, on the 13th, the doors of Zul'Gurub had been opened as part of the content included in Patch 1.7.
Zul'Gurub is a 20-person raid dungeon located north of Stranglethorn Vale. Its final boss, Hakkar is one of the gods of the troll pantheon.
Who gets the legendary mace?
Patch 3.1 is coming, you should already be rolling it out.
In short, many brotherhoods are going to have to face the odd problem that is quite ... «tricky»
It is not a blue, it is not an epic, it is ... A LEGENDARY !!
For a long time I was a Band Leader in my brotherhood (as well as a teacher) and honestly, it is somewhat tricky, deciding who takes the mace first. Since it is not an object that all guilds have at their fingertips, we are going to describe a little how to get the mace to get a clearer idea.
- We gather 30 Fragments of Val'anyr that can only be obtained in Ulduar in Heroic mode.
- Step 1:: Bring the Shattered Fragments to the Archivum Console.
- Step 2:: Throw the Shattered Shards at Yogg-Saron while he is casting Deafening Roar.
- Kill Yogg-Saron and get the loot.
- First condition: Can only be completed in Ulduar in Heroic Mode.
- Second condition: At least one of the Watchers (Thorim, Mimiron, Freya, Hodir) must not attend during combat.
It is a mace of Healer and it is only available to classes that can heal and will only be effective in the healing branch of that class. Here is your effect:
- Your healing spells have a chance to inflict Blessing of the Ancient Kings for 15 seconds, allowing your heals to create a shield on the target that absorbs 15% of the amount healed.
This leads us to several conclusions
Northrend Nordic
I invite you to take a quick trip back in time when Blizzard began to reveal information about what would be Wrath of The Lich King. The news about the Vrykul and the Kvasir really liked the community and I personally (and I guess everyone) loved the idea of having Vikings in World of Warcraft. I have been able to observe how Northrend is influenced by Norse culture and even its traditions. That is why I intend to collect their similarities here.
En Ulduar we have even more references to Nordic culture. If you find something that I missed or have an interesting idea to share, I think we will all be delighted to hear it.
What comes after Ulduar?
One of the questions that many ask themselves and that we can read in some forums is: «What comes after Ulduar and Patch 3.1? » Although no one knows for now (well, Blizzard do) we have some "evidence" that can guide us at least a little.
In October 2008, Jeffrey "Tigole" Kaplan commented in an interview, that Patch 3.1 would bring a new band instance that has not been announced yet. We also know from the same interview that in Patch 3.3 we will be able to fight Arthas in Icecrown Citadel so we are sure that the dungeon that will come in Patch 3.2 will not be this.
We just announced that a new Battleground would be coming after Patch 3.1 so we may not see a dungeon after this patch.
Although…
Stories with History: Leeroy Jenkins
With this type of article, I intend to tell some players, things that happened in the past and that due to their repercussion in the community (or even in the game itself) deserve to be known.
When I started playing World of Warcraft I would see a lot of players by the name of Leeroy or Jenkins but I had no idea who or what that name was. Today we are going to explain it.
Leeroy Jenkins is the alias of Ben Schultz who adopted the nickname "Leeroy Jenkins" as a rallying cry during a "Starcraft" battle with his friends. He is undoubtedly one of the most famous World of Warcraft players of all time and the protagonist of a video in which you can see the disaster he causes in what at that time (it was the end of 2004) was one of the more delicate dungeons: Blackrock Peaks: Superior.
Keeping the balance
Over the past week, I've been watching numerous major World of Warcraft Blogs succumb to real life. Some you will know if you are used to reading in English, others will not sound familiar to you: Resto4Life and BigRedKitty have left the blogosphere to dedicate themselves to personal issues. Specifically, Phaelia from Resto4Life has left the blog due to a pregnancy although Blizzard wanted to pay homage to him putting his name to a piece of armor since his contributions to the community have been, to say the least.
The "losses" have made me reflect on the reasons behind each march and I have taken a look at my personal life although luckily or unfortunately I have a difference, to this day of course, that makes me stay in these for now you fight. I don't have a lot of family to worry about.
Ulduar, beginning of the end?
We can't forget that the content introduced in Wrath of The Lich King was completely swept away by Ensidia in just a few hours and right now most guilds have 25 or 10 content clean.
