Last Monday we attended the Cataclysm launch event at Fnac in Madrid. In this event a costume contest took place, among many other things. As the interview with Cory Stockton and Rob Sevilla, do not stop reading it.
The contest was animated by a nice man who left his mark for the gamers who were there that night, a mark that will last forever and ever. We will never again forget the name of the winner, that cry of "Sabanaaaaaas!" You can see the photo gallery and video of the prize collection.
And here we have Sabanas in person, who has gladly answered some questions about her and her costume, don't miss the interview. Congratulations, again, on your award!
The celebration of the launch of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm occurred all over the world. In Madrid we have Nazamur ...
One of the most important parts of the event was undoubtedly the interview we had with Cory Stockton, Lead Content Designer and Bob Sevilla, 3D Designer. After the avalanche of questions that arrived in the mailbox, it was very difficult for us to find the most appropriate and concise ones to be able to resolve the greatest number of doubts in the little time we had.
So here we are again sitting with these two members of the World of Warcraft development team, in the middle of the midnight opening event at the Callao FNAC in Madrid for the official launch of Blizzard's most ambitious product: World of Warcraft Cataclysm. . We don't have much time to spend with them so you have to squeeze every second. You don't have two greats every day to be able to talk to them and ask them all those doubts that come to mind.
We also recommend the fantastic summary of the general interview that the guys from Psicocine did, where you can read much more. Safety pin.
After a brief presentation and various greetings, we started with the questions.
Come back after months! The reason for this is that it had been a long time without taking a strip of these, so I will try to summarize the most important news that has happened lately.
If you want Gnomical Guerrilla I have to say that I will try to alternate it one week, one week, another (which already has a little left) so I will be free and I will take Lol of Warcraft every week. Unless you don't want to know how it ends ... xD then I won't take it out anymore.
Nothing more to say, I hope you like it and that you have not lost the practice of making this strip.
By the way, if you want to do me a favor, vote here
http://fortune.worldofwarcraft.com/es_es/contest_image/vote.html#812
It is my proposal to avoid the cataclysm, a Dragon Slayer in the purest flyswatter style. Give prizes
Blizzard has decided to add some lyrics to the start of Cataclysm. Many players may not even be aware of the events that have changed the face of Azeroth forever, and those who already know may want to expand their knowledge of the history that has unleashed this change. Through the WoW Blog on Battle.net, have published what seems like the first part of a series of stories that will introduce us all to the story.
This begins just after the fall of the Lich King and tells us about various events (both the horde and the alliance). I invite you to read it after the jump or in the Official Site.
And what you promised is due! Here I leave you with the continuation of the story. This time the past of the troll is shown? gnome? Coloroco Zim.
My intention is to show the past of the three main characters. So it only remains to reveal the past of Chincheta!
Unfortunately I am aware that in the game there is no longer the reconquest of Gnomeregan and now with all this cataclysm it has already gone into the background, but even so I will finish the story as I had intended. I hope you like it.
Let's see how everything turns out ... xD
Quiet! Do not be thinking that this compilation is because I have put myself in laziness mode. 'Surely, since this week he has nothing done, a compilation that always saves you is drawn from his sleeve
Today there is no Gnomic Guerrilla ... Instead, I will tell you my version of what happened at BlizzCon 2010, it does not have to be a true reflection of reality but ...
After resting for a week, I finally decided to do a megacomic about how were the days I spent at Blizzcon. I hope that after reading it you will find everything a little clearer about the things that happened there through me. By the way, do not believe all the vignettes and forgive this drawing, but if I did it in a "cool" plan, I won't finish it even for the next Blizzcon!
Vivisnai, an acquaintance of these parts, sends us through our mailbox@guiaswow.com, 6 creations as…
Wrath of the Lich King is over. Soon we will forget about that super-villain that has been Arthas and we will start going after Deathwing and his minions. However, Jack, has returned to create a masterpiece to which he has us used to.
This time it is a video of his quality and style on the Citadel of the Icecrown.
In this magnificent video we can see an epic journey through the encounters of the Citadel until we reach the Lich King himself. It is worth seeing even if it is long.
The video, after the jump.
That you know that these two episodes I have done in the middle of a blow (cold, badly thought!) Of hell and if you think that it is too much paranoia of the chapter it is because there is still the next one that is complemented with these two, in which I will explain the reason for the final surprise.
That said I go back to bed, I hope you like it.
Today many of you will be reading this from home, warm, without going to work ... but I want to go on strike in the Japanese style so I have worked twice as hard and I bring you here the two new episodes of Guerrilla Gnomica.
This episode progresses a lot in the story and, although this could be an end to the series, there are still many more to come.
I also remember that there is an area where you can buy epic t-shirts
https://www.guiaswow.com/empresa/tienda-camisetas-guiaswow.html
Well here I leave you the episode, that you enjoy.
Finally! After reading many books to me these months, I remembered that I had this one. I already read it as soon as I bought it, but… poof… really good. Do you want to know my opinion and more about this book? Well keep reading ...
I admit it, I am a fan of reading. This summer, for example, I have read about 8-10 books, not counting the comics… And among them was this book.
I bought it out of sheer freakiness and consumer eagerness, I admit it, since the Lore of the plague does not finish calling me; but I have to admit that I was very happy to read it. From the first page to the last I couldn't stop reading. Arthas, Muradin, Terenas, Lady Sylvannas, Invincible and Lady Jaina Valiente among others.
Hello everybody! The vast majority of you do not know anything about me but, the truth is that I have been collaborating with GuíasWoW a lot of time. Maybe it would be easier if I told you that I am the artist of the web mascot. I love to draw! I do drawings in general and they are usually related to World of Warcraft. You can see my gallery in Deviant Art And, if you like it, I can always do a commission job!
In addition to being a cartoonist, I am passionate about World of Warcraft and, especially, its history. Belelros asked me to do some Lore articles and, although it is a difficult job because I am from the United States and I write the articles in English, I think it will be worth what I have to tell you.
When Cataclysm was announced in BlizzCon '09, many of us were eager to hear the story behind the new Alliance race: The Worgen. Not much history was given until the Alpha started being (illegally) gutted, but a lot of that information was incomplete and left a lot of questions. Now, after being in Beta for a few months, I can answer a lot of Lore questions that you guys might have with the Worgen and Druids of Gilneas.
Originally, we understood that Worgen were mysterious creatures that no one knew about. We had assumed they were from Nether Void or from some other dimension. However, we now know that the Worgen were created by a sectarian order of Druids known as the Druids of the Scythe. These druids worshiped the demigod Ancestor Goldrinn, or better known as Lo'Gosh by the Orcs. But that power was too much for many of the Druids, and soon they became feral by the transformations.
Although by now all of you will have done the quests for the recovery of Gnomeregan and Echo Islands, I remind you that this alternate history continues. And despite the fact that you already know how it ends, I guarantee that here he still has rope and a surprising ending, also since I have not yet completed any of those pre-cataclysm chains, the story has not felt influenced by the original plot ...
In short, don't stop reading it! XD
This chapter took a long time to arrive, after spending weeks and weeks standing in the same place, they finally arrive at Gnomeregan and the action begins little by little. It's something I never thought would happen, since I was in laziness mode lately and I haven't taken them out every week.
As I have not played the patch yet (although I know more or less how it will go) I have tried to invent absolutely everything! So I'm very sorry but none of the enemies, characters and / or situations that will be reflected here, will happen in reality xD
My goal is that when you play the reconquest of Gnomeregan yourselves you will think «What a tigernut! The comic was much better. Give me my heuros»And those who get into the game later and read this comic think«I wish I was there to do all this ... snifff«
Step of rolling up and I leave you with the podcast ... this ... comic I mean! XD
With these two chapters the first part of the story is completed, which has covered 22 pages no less! I hope to continue maintaining the style in the following 22 chapters and that you liked the characters (I don't know if you want one to come out more than another).
By the way, I publish this even if it is not Wednesday because although in the beginning it was thought that it would coincide with the day of patches, maintenance until 11 and others, to make the wait a little more enjoyable, now in summer there is little or nothing of that, so I'll post any day. Stay tuned!
Hello everyone again, I am Yandrak and I bring you the first chapter of Discovering the old world. The story takes place in the Twilight Forest because I was first in the retelling of the previous question. As in the prologue (which I recommend you read) there is also a question at the end.
I was on top of a hill that kept climbing out of sight as the trees collided with part of the mountain. I waited hours until daylight but then I understood that the light would never flood the forest as the trees prevented it. So I plucked up my courage and decided to explore the forest in the middle of this constant night, I was going slowly since a wrong step could be dangerous, little by little my eyes were getting used but I only saw a few steps ahead.
I continued all the way straight, avoiding trees and several stumps, both seemed centenary due to their thickness, a feeling of thirst and hunger began to flood me that I was not able to quench, since there was no stream running here, nor did any fruit grow in the trees, all signs of life in the area seemed extinct, the only me, I resembled a lost soul wandering aimlessly trying to find someone in this dead and gloomy environment.
It seems like it was yesterday but because of the nonsense here is chapter 20. To celebrate it and seeing that there are a few months left, I have made a parody of ... (It is not necessary to explain aloud what I have been inspired by, right? XD)
The question is: How many will have survived this?
With this installment the flashback of Bang's story closes. I hope it was not very melodramatic! All the protagonists of stories have to have a huge trauma and this story was not going to be less.
It remains to know the history of the other two protagonists, but that will be "SOON" The next installment returns to the area of preparation for battle
Hello everyone, I am Yandrak and I bring you a new idea that I hope you like and it is this novel. The process I want to follow is that we all participate in its continuation, that is why at the end of each part a question will be asked to the readers, according to the answers, three or four will be selected and the story will continue with those ideas. I hope you like it, here I leave you with the story ...
It was a hot summer night, I was in my town spending the vacations bored as always, it was too late and I decided to cut through the forest, its oaks were gigantic and it had a mystical atmosphere that made it dangerous and attractive at the same time. The path was dark and noises could be heard from all sides. Although I have been here several times accompanied by this time, I noticed something strange, would it be the lunar eclipse? A chill ran through my body and I started running without thinking, I was almost at the end when suddenly a stench of decomposition came to me and in the summit came out a horrible creature. The trees cast their shadows on her, because of the low light I could not see many details but enough for the terror to take hold of me, her long claws and her two meters were etched in my mind.
At that moment I lost my rationality and fear ran through my veins and I decided to enter the thicket of the forest leaving the path, my only thought came from the subconscious and was to flee from there as far as possible, I had been running non-stop for 30 minutes I did not know towards where I was going and my asthma did not help but I still heard grunting behind my back, my legs were already beginning to fail but then I saw that the forest was soon ending and the hope of my being was released and began to flow over me, when I went out to the clearing, Hope closed in again and pessimism recovered my body because I had come out at the entrance of a cave, the noises were very close and it was my only way out, so I entered the cave and just as soon as a blow to my back entered, I turn was the beast was lying on the ground as if it had hit a wall, but there was nothing there, I did not want to stay near that beast so with the simple lighting of my mobile I decided to continue.
Summertime is what you have you go to the beach, you go out there, you publish comic from time to time ... etc etc xD
I'm sorry I could not publish, surely it has been so long that you don't even remember that this comic exists! Haha (what you don't know is that I plan to finish it no matter what)
I hope to have the next one soon, that the story is already advancing and soon the explosions and strange things will come ...
One of our regular collaborators enjoys a noble hobby, such as drawing, and as such, he does not hesitate to give people his art.
Vicman (Víctor Cara), is an amateur cartoonist, although already experienced, always passionate about fantasy series, and how could it be otherwise, fascinated with the world of World of Warcraft.
For this he brings us this little story, a little story of a young elf warrior, who seeks a destiny, fulfilling the missions that her king entrusts to her.
This is just a small story, one of which he hopes to continue showing us on our website soon, although if you want to know a little more about the art of our collaborator, visit his blog: http://victorcara.blogspot.com
We hope you like their stories and that we make room for young cartoonists, who with World of Warcraft have an incredible fantasy world to tell us stories.
The Kaldoreis (or Night Elves) are an ancient and lonely race born during the awakening of the World. Their ancestral heritage has marked them as a warrior race, with a strong love for nature and animistic practices. The Kaldoreis are practical but super-wise, and often paradigmatic. They are a people with an innate passion for spiritual practices and for nature itself. Long ago, the Kaldoreis were immortal. Because of the Quel'Dorei, the powerful elven magic was completely out of control, the Quel'dorei, believed superior to the Kaldoreis for the simple fact of controlling arcane magic. This careless use of magic may have attracted the gaze of the Burning Legion, ultimately leading to a catastrophic battle known as The War of the Ancients. This battle changed the face of Azeroth forever, and resulted in the creation of the continents of the world. The land was torn apart and a nexus of great power and energy was formed in the center of the ocean known as the Maelstrom. The Night Elves are an honorable and compassionate people, although their age and knowledge have made them disgraced and very proud. Many of the Night Elves consider it their duty to ensure the safety and balance of the world. Due to this air of superiority, many of the young races of Azeroth distrust the Night Elves.
It's funny because, while I was writing this opinion piece, someone has asked our position on this. Although it is something that you will hear in our next Podcast, I have not wanted to stop giving my opinion about it on a topic that concerns everyone: The Real ID will appear in the forums. The response from the community around the world has not been long in coming, and although there are some people who like it, most do not.
One of the reasons that have been put forward is that of the Troll in the forums. It is true that many people avoid forums because of the responses that are often obtained, the incessant threads of "AVRAN YA LOS SERVERS THAT I PAY MY THREE HEUROS" or any player asking for advice on how to equip and see many people call him as a rookie to above. If you think about it, what Blizzard is trying to do is eliminate one of the features that the Internet has almost always enjoyed: Anonymity. The intention is clear and it is to eliminate (or alleviate) all these types of messages, removing their mask from each one.
However, not everything is bad in the forums since the good also abounds. Lots of people spend their time writing helpful guides, tips, interesting discussions about new game features, tips, and bug reports, but this may all end once the Real ID hits the forums. A lot of people like to be anonymous and keep their personal life out of the game and certainly there are many times when I see it as very necessary. I have thought of some cases, but surely they are not the only ones since each person is different.
Sadly, if the people who make the forum a nice and useful place for the community to stop posting as a side effect of persuading misuse of the tool, I would find it really boring.
Most people cry out to heaven for the security problems this can cause. Personally, I do not see it as such a serious problem. I work daily with sensitive data from many people and, as a rule, the most you can find (hopefully) is a Facebook profile and little else.
The Green-skinned Orcs are one of the most prolific races on Azeroth. Born in the world of Draenor, the orcs came to Azeroth through the dimensional portal known as The Dark Portal.
World's End…
It had been a long time since the Curiosities section appeared among us. This time he returns from the hand of Khern and his alter Kurzik, a shaman who is going to show us what the End of World WarcraftWe will also see the hidden islands southeast of Tanaris, where goblins and pirates live oblivious to everyone else.
He also asks us to mention Dalak and his post in the official forum, as it seems he was the first to overcome the "Blue Barrier". For now we are left with the screenshots of Khern.
But let him explain it to us himself.
In this new installment of weekly lore I would like to start a series, «The Races series». Trying to explain as much as possible about the playable races of the World of Warcraft, starting with the Human race and bringing each week a different race alternating the factions.
Humans (also known as "humanity"), is one of the native races that still survives with life. Most live in the Eastern Kingdoms, formerly known as "Azotha", they founded seven kingdoms that came together to fight together during the Second War. The native humans of Northrend were forced to live as slaves to the Magnataur Kingdoms in ancient history. Since the Third War, the kingdom of Stormwind has led Humans, and is a powerful member of the Alliance.
Humans are among one of the youngest races on Azeroth, but it is compensated by being the most numerous. With a shorter life expectancy compared to other races, humans strive throughout their lives to build great empires, exploration, and magical studies.
This curious aggressive nature has led humans to become one of the most active and influential races in the world. Humans value Virtue, Honor and Courage, although like all races they also try to achieve power and wealth. Humans have spent generations fighting the dark forces and have lost some of their great kingdoms to it.
I am sorry to communicate that this is a very sad chapter, the first character in the comic dies. Who will it be? Why does it die? The answer after the jump ...
Riddles begin to appear! Who is that mysterious shadow that haunts Chincheta? Will it come out again? The answer…. »Soon»
Silvermoon Ranger-General Sylvanas Windrunner was killed by Death Knight Arthas, bringing her back to life as undead. After regaining control over herself she rebelled against The Lich King and the Scourge and became the leader of the renegade undead faction, which later allied with the Horde. She has proclaimed herself the Dark Lady, Queen of the Forgotten (or Forsaken, as they are now called in WoW) an extension of her original title, "Queen Banshee."
As the leader of the Forsaken and the Horde in the Eastern Kingdoms, Sylvanas is a military genius. The middle sister of Alleria and Vereesa Windrunner, she was a Ranger-General of the high elf kingdom of Quel'Thalas. She bravely fought Arthas when he invaded Quel'Thalas, but during the fall of Silvermoon, Arthas resurrected her as his henchman, as part of some kind of revenge. When the Lich King weakened his sovereignty over his minions, Sylvanas, among other undead, regained her freedom and led her forces against the Dreadlords who had taken over Lordaeron, confirming her sovereignty over the undead released upon release. murdering two of the Nathrezim and bending the third, Varimathras, to his will. She renamed the undead who regained their will as "The renegades»And declared herself his queen.
Under Sylvanas' Leadership, the Forsaken have succeeded not only in defending themselves against the Scourge, but also against the Scarlet Crusade. She has great aptitudes in the fields of Leadership, Military Strategy and especially in the Arch. She is also an expert in the use of demonic magic, has the ability to drain life, can raise skeletons to life, and masters the art of mind control. Sylvanas is said to be the best archer in Azeroth, she claimed that she could hit a bird in the eye in mid-flight. She carries the Longbow of the Sunwalker, which once belonged to Dath'Remar Sunwalker, who gifted it to Sylvanas when she became a Ranger-General.
There are still no explosions or wars! Will there ever be? I believe that no protagonist will arrive in one piece to the battle…. Give me the money back !! XD
And if on any occasion they take out a pet hand (for handicapped), you already know where they got the idea from 🙂
Tonight we have our friend with us Proenix. Yes, friends, that wonderful MVP (Highly Valued Chicken) whom we have been following the lead for a long time to interview. Although we didn't want to overwhelm him in his early days as MVP, after his engaging and engaging interview we did not want to forget him and return the "friendly" favor.
For this interview we have used I asked our collaborator for help Mortiphilia, a very active character in the official forums, where he is known as Topi. And how could it be less, our friend izildra she signs up (rather she pointed a shotgun at us) to this interview as Official President of her Fan Club (don't forget to stop by your page on facebook to rave with her about certain characters in the Community 😉).
And without further ado ...
Topi: High! Before we start, Login! Introduce yourself to the community!
At your service!
I am Proenix from Minahonda and I belong to the MVP program of the official forums.
Yesterday we received an interesting message from Sampi, an officer of a Spanish brotherhood, Viron de Dun Modr. In this, we ...
People are already arriving at the meeting place, two of the protagonists have already arrived. What? How did Bang escape his job as an elevator operator? You will find out ... xD
Finally the last of the three protagonists comes out. This time we are facing one of the most famous people in all of Azeroth, so it will be an honor for such a celebrity to appear in this comic.
There is little left for the explosions and shots ... Will they come out alive?
Step by step the story advances and the first protagonists appear on stage. I would like to dedicate several pages to your presentation but you will already know them, There are still several more chapters for the action, patience.
Regarding the Blade's Edge Mountains, I have not said which site is the one in the fourth chapter but if you remember, there is a site with many gnomes in that area ... You can even go visit the house where he works as an elevator operator, which actually exists! XD
And yes, she has the antenna-shaped hairstyle. Do they have any use or power? You'll see!
After a long time, I have finally decided to make a long story. This time it has everything: a plot with unexpected twists, protagonists, action, deceptions, romances, light, fire, destruction ... The theme is neither more nor less than the future assault on Gnomeregan that will take place within several patches.
As one page did not give me to introduce this new series, you have two to read. In fact my plan is to get two every week, otherwise it would take centuries to advance the plot. As this is the first episode, you will have to wait for me to introduce the protagonists and see where the shots go.
And regarding the end, fear not, I have the whole story and ending thought of (I will not make you like Lost), in fact if someone hires me (or kidnaps) I am able to complete and deliver the complete story in PDF or print volume xD.
Well here I leave it to you, enjoy it!
I have a few suggestions for mounts that could be included in the Blizzard store. Remember to contact me to negotiate, you know ... we are going to fifty-fifty. If in the next few months I see you selling it, I will assume that you have read this and accept the conditions, what's more! If you are not selling it in the coming months, I will also consider that you are saving it for a special edition or anniversary, so you will also have to pay me.
This text is actually a legal contract in which you accept any consequences if… you read… .until… the… last… word… .bra.
With all the information about the expansion that is coming out, it is better to remain silent and not give ideas ... lest you are watching us at this moment and take note of all the nonsense that we suggest.
Yesterday, when reading the progression changes in the Cataclysm raids, the truth is that I was not surprised. I saw it as a natural evolution just like the changes to the emblems. It's the kind of thing you say, and why wasn't it like that before?
As I said in the article itself, I did not want to waste the opportunity to give my opinion about it and, as always, you may or may not agree with me but remember one thing: It is an opinion.
If there is a methodology in life that is widely known and that, personally, I apply, it is to look at the good and bad things of something and from that I forge an opinion that can be bad (if they outnumber the good ones) or good .
1) Goodbye to summer break. Yes, we all know that in summer the desire to play wanes while the desire for Tinto de Verano and the beach grows. Guilds that currently make bands of 25 will be able to maintain a progression with those players who decide to keep at least one band of 10 players.
Do you have a new mount and want to show it off? Don't keep it! Come to Krasus's joint!
It will be plagued (like a Marbella promenade) with quiet people mounted on their brand new mount, waiting to be tagged.
Have you already discovered what the comic is about? (evil laugh)
There are times that with just a few musical touches, and some good videos that you record with the brotherhood, you have a video (or a series) left by the sea of curious people and that amaze you not only for the work done but for the quality of it.
This is the case of Onyx, a player (who seems to be Brazilian) who has summarized the entire journey of Patch 3.3 and that represents the Fall of the Lich King. This series is divided into 4 videos. The fourth is only for credits and you can see in it the songs that he has used in his video. I recommend you watch it in high definition.
The rest can be found behind the jump. It has no waste. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
I was yesterday enjoying the good atmosphere that is breathed, a dazzling sun and I thought about how little there is left for the summer. Soon, it will be the beach, the sea, ice cream, and… new shirts. But ... if possible I wanted one with some geek motive (which are fashionable and are usually sold in these types of modern stores), so, what better than a Warcraft one, because ... I don't have a Warcraft t-shirt! Not even the one they usually always sell with the Alliance or Horde shield, which has quite a few people.
This couldn't be like this! I want t-shirts with original designs!
What did I do? Well, original, own designs. Trying not to be overly geeks.
But the thing does not end there, they are not a couple of designs, but one for each class of the game. With different themes on each one and making it the same whether it is an orc or a draenei, since they are valid for both the horde and the alliance.
For my part, I'm already looking forward to wearing the shaman xD. If you like any, let me know that I may release the original files or I will sell them to the highest bidder… .muahahaha.
Na, seriously, I hope you like them xD
It is what has been felt in the environment lately and there is only one solution ...
Recently I was leveling up my blood elf paladin (ftw topics) and on a mission I found this book that, inexplicably, gave me to read. This in-game book can be obtained from Warden Belamoore.
This article is based on things that can be read within the game and some speculation on my part. Be prepared, a long text entry is coming.
Kegan Darkmar, leader of a small band of the undead who came to see us seeking asylum to escape from his "brothers," challenges our usual attitudes towards his kind. His skin may be rotting or blood has not flowed through his veins for a long time, but he acts nobly, showing more concern for the safety of his compatriots than for his own.
In fact, I sense in him a humanity that, frankly, I sometimes miss in some humans I know.
But why do I say all this? I affirm this to give credibility to what I am going to write, since these were Kegan's words and it is my wish that, after reading this diary, my colleagues understand why I believe in them:Vestiges of ancient gods lie in the hollow depths of the world. Now, new forces are trying to use that ancient power, so those who succeed will have in their hands a terrible weapon to fight their enemies. "
Such were the words Kegan spoke as he extended his bloodstone pendant towards me, and there was fear, and perhaps reverence, in his eyes as he did so. When his hands joined mine, they remained motionless, as if refusing to hand over the pendant. I felt some disgust, but I don't remember if my rejection was due to the dead meat squeezing my hand or if it was the pendant that made me shudder.
Ouaaaaaaahm, what a dream. This sleeping 17 hours a day can't be good ... Anyway, let's see what new things there are lately ... Eing? Looking for partners? Am I a Tusk? An aunt who reads backwards? A team meter to see who has it the longest? But ... but ... but ... Aaaaaaaaaaanda, today is April 1, the day of the innocent saints in much of the world. I already understand everything!
That's how I found myself on Thursday. Well yes, like every 1 April, is celebrated on the day of the innocent saints or April Fool's (for the Americans), and from Blizzard they do not miss it or crazy. Every year there have been jokes about future modifications, and as always, I am going to ask Chromie to open the library, to see what changes have happened in recent years:
What happens if we put two things together that hook? The wow and lost.
Well, this little and humble story comes out. The producers are trying to buy it as an alternative ending, be careful! (Don't worry, I don't put spoilers or anything)
Notice to the reader that this is an entry from another of my reflective entries and of course it is totally loaded with subjectivity and should be read and understood as such. It is an entry that has been around my head for a while and is especially dedicated to certain people ... they know who they are. It has not been until today that, reading an interesting post by Grazing in Mulgore, you have finished finishing this post that has been cooking for a few days.
This article will focus on the healers and their prowess on the raids.
The human being, by nature, is competitive and everyone likes to know that he is the first in something. The problem comes when we don't know how to read the data and we only look at the Recount, in the "Healing Done" section.
That's where the problems begin, my bar is bigger than yours ergo healthy more than you. Clearly that's true, but does that mean you're doing better?
The answer is no.
I have just miraculously arrived at chapter 20 and a number of celebrities and national folklore characters have not wanted to miss it. It's a kind of "what if they were characters from the wow?"
One last thing, if you are able to recognize them all, is that you spend too much time on the internet.
And be aware that there is a possible second part.
Everyone would have done / flirted, but realized that it is useless. If you really want to flirt, you better read this series of recommendations / advice / ravings….
Blizzard continues to interview important players / guilds within the game on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of World of Warcraft. This time Luek is interviewed.
Luek, from the United States Kingdom The Underbog, who currently holds the title of "The Kingslayer" and who earned the achievement "The Sandmaster" in October 2009, is a player who has been on a roll for the five years of existence from World of Warcraft. From defeating the Lich King in the 10-player dungeon in Icecrown Citadel, to maintaining a personal rating of 2200 in the 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 arena branches, to earning the title of "General" in the old Battleground rank system implemented before any World of Warcraft expansion hit the streets, with Luek we had a feeling that he would be a great candidate to chat about his experiences in the Warcraft universe over the past five years.
For starters, what was the first thing that attracted you to World of Warcraft and kept you on the ball during the leveling process?
I've always loved the Warcraft universe, so as soon as World of Warcraft was announced, I wanted to play. I had spent the last few years playing EverQuest with my friends and we were all more than ready for another great MMO. That was what really convinced me to upload my wizard. The first few missions weren't as complicated as the ones we see now, but they still involved a lot of history and took me to places I recognized from previous books and games, which turned out to be an incredible experience that motivated me to keep going and discover more content.
Exorsus is currently the third best brotherhood in the world, as well as the best Russian brotherhood and the previous best European brotherhood. We have interviewed Viksh, their leader, to tell us a little about the creation of the brotherhood, what makes it different from the rest, and how to lead a team to be effective.
Greetings, Viksh! Could you tell us a bit about Exorsus? How was the brotherhood created and how are things currently? Do you have future plans?
Well, Exorsus was created from another previous brotherhood called Initium, although today there are still some members of the original brotherhood. When I first became interested in the PvE aspect of World of Warcraft, I joined the best brotherhood of the Horde on the server at the time. It was called Untamed. The guild was led by Jimson, a fairly prominent player that I later followed when he formed a new guild by the name of Guess Who. Later, in the days of The Black Temple, Jimson ended up leaving Guess Who and joining Initium in the Shadowmoon realm. Soon after, he ended up becoming her guildmaster as well, and invited me to join them after taking a break from WoW.
As far as Exorsus is concerned, its history differs from that of most high-level guilds or guilds that are created by selecting players from various strong guilds, such as the Russian brotherhood Sinthesis, GKD or even the European brotherhood Ensidia. Exorsus actually only began to seriously immerse himself in PvE content when Ulduar came out and progressed slowly, bit by bit. It coincided that back then I also became the Guildmaster of Exorsus. It started out as a guild of friends at first, but over time the guild's focus shifted towards PvE achievement.
To this day, the guild is a group of highly experienced players who are not only familiar with WoW, but also with other MMOs. As far as our future plans are concerned, of course we have some. We currently believe that we have a very strong team that is capable of competing not only against other high-level Russian brotherhoods, but also globally.
Enigma is one of the most prominent brotherhoods in the kingdom of Deathwing and its members are very committed to facing the greatest challenges that World of Warcraft offers in each dungeon. A guild at the top of the US - with many "Kingdom First!" Plus other notable achievements, including Conqueror of Ulduar, Observed (25 player), Alone in Darkness (25 player). j.) and A tribute to madness (25 j.).
They recently completed The Frostwing Halls in Icecrown Citadel in its 10- and 25-player versions for the first forty-eight hours since it opened (in patch 3.3.2), after which they finished off the Lich King. the first of his kingdom the following week. Enigma quickly gets down to business every time new band content is released. Although like the rest of the guilds, Enigma has a pool of players from all corners of the United States, it has an incredibly competent and mature bandleader at nineteen years of age, who also has a vast knowledge of the complex mechanics of World of Warcraft game. We recently interviewed Fraya, Enigma Guildmaster, to share with us his experiences as a successful party leader and as a dedicated player in the World of Warcraft community.
First of all, how long has Enigma been dealing with band content and what led to its creation?
Enigma was formed two weeks before the release of Wrath of the Lich King, with the purpose of clearly standing out from the rest of the competition in our realm, Deathwing. Despite all our efforts, at first when we started inviting people, things seemed uncertain. Duffmanoyea and I had tried to gather people to create a nucleus of the best, but so many people ended up backing down that we had to get together with some players that we had previously struggled with. It wasn't just that, but when Wrath of the Lich King came out we were barely twenty members. Fortunately, the first few weeks went quite well for us. Many players came out of nowhere and took an interest in our guild, plus the three opening stays rewarded everyone who rushed in there, rather than the more organized groups. From that moment on, everything got better.
Everyone who has played will remember different and emotional scenes that marked him in this game. Without them you wouldn't be that level 80 character that you are now.
Before I start with the article, I want to say that it is not mine. I would like to know as much about the history of World of Warcraft as this girl, but definitely not.
I don't remember how I found this article, but I do remember that I was totally hooked on it and in the end my jaw was open for a long time ... Although it is quite long, I have not wanted to stop translating it for you so that you can comment on your impressions at respect. I have adapted some sentences and, if you prefer, you can read it in its original version in english.
Read on to enjoy the translated version of the article ...
If you have ever wondered what food they eat, where they go to party or the favorite movies of the MSG, I'm sorry but I will not answer them (there was no space) instead I will answer others just as curious. I take this space to tell Evenue to remove the mute ... xD
This week: ReadyTM
This week we bring you an article about the well-known expression of Ready on the Blizzard forums. To know a little about this expression.
Thanks to Zäkum for sending your question to our mail and have us write this article for all of you.
This vignette completes the trilogy of intros that this expansion had on the history of Arthas (the ones that I did before, it is assumed that you have read them). I hope that with the next patches and expansions they will give us more, although they cost more to make them because of the length they are!
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
In this vignette there are some data from the final sequence of the battle against Arthas, so if you did not see the videos that circulated on the internet, you managed to survive the spoilers of the articles and you managed to get away from the source of Dalaran, do not read this comic.
There are two types of Wow players, those who, when they saw what happens at the end of Ice Crown, were proclaiming it to all their friends and those who, out of respect, remained silent without bursting the mystery.
I'm sorry but I consider myself the first type, but it seems that there is someone who has just megaspoiled everyone….
Well, in addition to being a very difficult boss and an ancient god, you should already know that he is a Spanish server with very peculiar characteristics ...
This week: Humor: The Three Branches of a Priest.
It's been quite a few weeks since the curiosities section was published and we opened the section this year with a small article about the priest's class. An article in a humorous tone that you send us elnath, as he himself tells us, a colleague from his brotherhood has written it and they want to share it with the community. So let's thank masklin for your input.
You can not lose BASIC CONCEPTS OF PRIEST AND ITS DIFFERENT BRANCHES OF TALENTS.
Many people will wonder if some bad dream haunts our dear Lich King, well, we have the exclusive one of his worst nightmares.
Long ago, the Brilliant Mane mare gave birth to Invincible in the presence of a marveling young Prince Arthas.
As time passed, the steed and Arthas forged a strong bond that would guide them in multiple battles across the nations of Azeroth, from the frozen yoke of death to the terrible agony of combat.
Without a doubt, this stallion's coiled muscles were built for speed, and Arthas often felt as if he was flying rather than riding his mount through different locations. At the slightest blow with his heel, Arthas could convey his orders without Invincible showing the slightest bit of hesitation.
It was Invincible's unshakeable faith in his lord that led to an inevitable death… and an unholy rebirth. One cold winter afternoon, as the snow turned the land white, Arthas felt the desperate need to get away from the city even if it meant riding through a grim and inhuman storm. Once away from the walls, Arthas takes Invincible for a spin, but Invincible falls due to the slippery ice and his front legs are completely destroyed. Unable to heal his wounded companion, Arthas is forced to give Invincible a merciful death. However, this event will weigh on the back of Prince Arthas for a long time.
According to its author, this video is inspired by Ulduar: The Movie. The author was inspired by this video because it is his…
A pro is an endangered species, we must take care of them and preserve their habitat so that they do not disappear. What would Wow be without them? ...
Voucher. Yes, you got me… it would be a better world without them.
Postscript: If I didn't publish anything these past two weeks, it was for two reasons
Comparison between aspects of the movie Avatar and the game World of Warcraft.
If you have gone to your room before logging in, you will have noticed that the kings may have passed. Here you have this "commemorative" cartoon about the gift that you would surely make to a colleague of yours (or he to you, it depends xD).
By the way: The kings are the gms ...
The leading brotherhoods are asking him, why is Arthas still alive after so many weeks? It is not that it has reinforced walls or doors and we have to wait to enter the next area, no.
This actually happens….
Yesterday it happened to me that I entered the game for just 5 minutes and then I left when the band's time was close. When I connected I could see that there were not the usual people. We are in full Christmas holidays and, I do not know if because of the cold and the storm that hits the peninsula or because of the holidays, the brotherhoods cool on these dates.
It is also difficult to adjust the calendar so that it does not coincide with Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve or of course the day after hangover ... Eggnog it goes to the head. The few days when there are enough people, they take the opportunity to go to Ice crown and the rest of the days you do what you can and feel like doing.
I already spoke on one occasion of the sorority breaks and I know of sororities that * suffer * the Christmas holidays in different ways.
Recently, before writing the article, I asked the following question on Twitter: How do you think Christmas is affecting the activity of your brotherhood?. I have had varied answers but the one that has caught my attention the most is that of @Baxolas who tells us the following:
In the previous week Tirion Vadin walked to his ball while the world went to war against the Lich King, let's see how they do ...
After a long time, the justice of the light will prevail over the shadow and the days of ... blah blah, I do not get the typical epic phrases that are sung in this type of circumstance, so without further delay I leave you with the comic 😛
Now that Patch 3.2 is over to make way for Patch 3.3, I think it's a good time to recap a bit about Patch 3.2, especially, Trial of the Crusader.
As every time I write this type of article, it is an opinion article and it may not coincide (and it will surely do so) with your opinions. But, as always, I like to jump in the pool.
Before I begin this article I want to make it very clear that my only experience in Icecrown is in the Public Test Realms. This implies that the numbers that we have been able to see there may be very different (or not) from those we see later in the Normal Realms.
Blizzard typically makes some encounters easier or more difficult based on testing in the Realms, but nothing is known yet.
The intention of this article is to give a preview of what to expect in Icecrown because the difference in style is quite large when compared to the Trial of the Crusader.
Changes introduced with the Chill of the Throne are, in my opinion, good because the damage does not happen suddenly if not fluently. It is very common to see in the Trial of the Crusader (especially in Heroic) that the Tank is killed in one hit and dies in 1 or 2 hits. This ended in Icecrown Citadel. We can see how the life of the tank drops continuously which is a relief for the Healers because they will not have to be with that fear that the tank irretrievably dies.
This is mainly very healthy for excessive healings (overhealing). A very graphic example is Gormok the Impaler in Heroic Mode in which you get involved in throwing cures at the Tank because at any moment it drops a lot. This causes excessive mana expenditure and a clear reduction in effective healing.
As everyone knows, after each patch come the usual delays for opening the server (hopefully I'm wrong this time xD). So to help you I have prepared a series of hobbies and aids so that you can kill a little time until the promised time.
I hope you have left your socks in the fireplace and a glass of milk, because you will have a surprise today.
If you have already read it, you can also read the previous installments of "LOL of Warcraft" (which look more like a comic than this xD)
For the most curious minds, eager for information, I know that you cannot sleep every night without knowing where the character gets the horse from when casting the mount, or if the basic bonfire is actually magic.
So your prayers have been heard, here is the 'How do things work in Azeroth? VOLUME 1 », so that you stop believing that the new characters are brought by a stork ...
Today I am going to talk to you about the shaman again, I continue to play with him as a Restoration and, honestly, I love it.
I will not go back into the discussion about the areas because I already I dedicated an article to it. Today I am going to tell you about the Mitigation damage to the Shaman. Although it is still an opinion piece (which you eat me later), I will talk about things that are perhaps more logical and do not cause so much controversy.
What is this article about? Well, I would like to talk about all the classes but, really, I do not have the time or the necessary knowledge to talk about each class but if someone is encouraged, we can always talk about it (wink).
This article occurred to me the other day in Trial of the Heroic Crusader when a Tank was irretrievably dying within 2 minutes of combat. My gang leaders know that I like to heal tanks more than the gang, but in the face of the debacle, one of the officers decided to switch me to heal a gang while he healed the dying tank. When we finished the attempts of the night (without success), I asked the Officer why I had changed. They told me that he was a priest and wanted to try to see if the shield they have to mitigate damage was of any use. The funny thing is that the tank that I healed was not the one that died.
Anecdotes aside, this led me to ponder the Shaman damage mitigation that is sorely needed for Healers in general.
Days and days going up kitchen to 450, trying to be the best chef in all of Azeroth, so that your creations end up lying on the floor and eaten to the beast. If you are not scrupulous, you will eat to get the bufo, but if not… call and order a better pizza.
As a curiosity to say that when "Fulanito prepares a fish feast" comes out in the chat, everyone goes like "Where's Wally?" to find it quickly, since many times it is camouflaged or under several people, surely you have gone from being persistently looking for it, but without finishing locating it ...
That question that this article has as its title has been around us for a few days on all the channels we have ...
Interesting article about Blizzard's musical group, the Tauren Chieftains.
In this chapter the next character comes out on the scene, who is none other than a flight master who got rich in the past and now has a hard time. The chapter is very very dramatic xD, have a handkerchief pack on hand.
Maybe one day they will make some machinima based on this character and everything, but it still has more history that I will continue to extract little by little
